The Cartel members may assume and reference the following without discussion/asking:

  • Though skittish at first, Hen Wen warms up to others quickly. She often asks to be pet, but she is just as content sleeping at a coyote's feet.
  • Hen Wen "alerts" easily, and is usually the first to make noise and scatter if something seems "off" about her surroundings (or if a horse got too close).

1.  Appearance

  • Size: Small, around 140 lbs.
  • Features: Hardy little thing. Long snout, drooping ears. Soulful eyes.
  • Coloration: White hair, color commonly mistaken as "pink" due to skin.

2.  Personality

Hen Wen is a very affectionate and intelligent animal, with spunk for her size and a deep bond with her companions. However, she often oversteps her boundaries and gets into trouble with her curiosity and dumb bravery. She is shy around most Luperci but loves other livestock -- with the exception of horses.

2.1  Skills & Abilities

  • Deceptively intelligent, Hen Wen comprehends some High Speech, understanding several command words and picking up other phrases in context. She is eager to please and can perform basic tricks or tasks, such as fetching things.

2.2  Likes & Dislikes

  • Likes: Affection, livestock, Merari, Murphy
  • Dislikes: Horses, fast-moving bodies of water, solitude, Bogart

3.  History

  • Born on abandoned farmland in Western Tangles.
  • Found by Lowry Lykoi as a piglet, she took to the nervous coyote easily.
  • Lived with Lowry in AniWaya while he was on a covert mission, until sickness came and Lowry left.
  • After his attempted suicide, Hen Wen comforted Lowry and brought him back out of his shell. They lived in peace in Cercatori d'Arte for some time.
  • When Lowry was suddenly murdered in 2014, Hen Wen became communal livestock. No one had the heart to butcher her, so she acted as a sort of "pet" for the pack. She was despondent after the death of her friend.
  • She was shuffled with the other d'Arte livestock to Midnight Shores -- then traded away to Sapient after the Shores' disbandment in 2017.
  • Upon Sapient's disbandment in 2018, Asura Creo took Hen Wen -- who was fond of the girl's kindness -- on a trip south. She ran into Merari Tears, whose pack had also just disbanded. Upon seeing that Merari had a pig of her own and a knack for the animals, Asura gave Hen Wen to Merari.
