This page is intended to display all graphical family trees as they related to 'Souls. Remember, we have the Family Echo interactive family tree, too! You're encouraged to add your character and their family on there now, but if you happen to have a graphical representation of your character's family, too, that's cool.

Please only put family trees you're willing to share openly with other users here -- for example: if you make a private, personal family tree for your character Jackal and you're not comfortable with others using that tree in their profile, don't put it here. Those sorts of things belong on your Wiki or in your forum profile. Conversely, if you make a family tree for Jackal's family the Aureus family, and you're comfortable with all members belonging to the Aureus family using the image in their forum profile and wherever else, cool, throw it here! :)

1. Massive Family Tree

The massive family tree was updated by Kiri until about 2009, when it became too ridiculous to update anymore (seriously, it's hard to read it due to all the convoluted breeding lines in 'Souls -- imagine updating the damned thing! O_O Although it isn't updated anymore, it's still marvelous to look at even how the earlier families and various lineages of 'Souls became massively entwined. Kiri rocks for keeping this thing around. <3

2. Individual Family Trees

These family trees are all free to use in your forum profile, character Wiki, wherever. :) Please feel free to add your family tree, but again, if you're not interested in sharing it, it belongs on a private Wiki.

There is a tutorial available for making family trees here on Tears, Bones & Desire, maintained by Sie, who maintains the studio for updating her family trees here, if any of hers require updating.

3. Display

3.1 HTML Code

To display the family tree in your forum profile, use the following code:

Copy the above code.
Paste into your forum profile.
Copy the address of the family tree, displayed below the family tree
Go back to your profile. Paste the address of the tree where it says IMAGEURL.
Extras:
- You can change the width. More than ~740 pixels wide will stretch the board and looks ridiculous anyway; I would reccommend between 200-400 pixels wide.
- You can change the image alignment to left if you'd like, and the image will display to the left with wraparound text. Change float:right to float:left and you're done.

3.2 Wiki Code

To display the family tree in your wiki profile, use the following code:

Paste into your wiki profile.
Copy the address of the family tree, displayed below the family tree
Go back to your profile. Paste the address of the tree where it says IMAGEURL.
Extras:
- You can change the width of your image by changing both instances of width. The first instance controls the width of the frame, the second instance the width of the image itself. If your image width is larger than your frame width, it causes overlap and looks icky.
- You can change the image alignment to left if you'd like, and the image will display to the left with wraparound text. Change rframe to lframe and you're done.
