The Akreon family has come from a line of feral pure wolves in North Canada. It is unknown if there had been any luperci infections prior in the older generations of the family, but Catherine's infection is the one best known. Born of a nonconsensual encounter, she killed her father to avenge her mother's murder by his hand, beginning a dark turn for the family line, which lead her to Nova Scotia. The most notable ties of the family to any packs is to AniWaya, which Catherine and her great-grandson Dion have belonged to.

Catherine left after the birth of her first litter, and joined the Augustinia pack, where the family grew and thrived there. Now bearing a heavy dog lineage that diluted their original wolf traits to just a passing physical ressemblance and strong wolf instincts. Because of the Augustinian culture, most members live very humanized lives, but if driven away from a civilized pack, they can easily stray back to their feral roots.

They have a close and deep connection to Animism and Paganism that traces back to before the influence of AniWayan and Augustinian cultures. Interactions with spirits and ghosts has happened often to family members, leading them to believe they are closer to the spiritual than most other canines, a burden and a burden they take very seriously.

2.  Other Akreon

2.1  Ancestors

Akreon ancestors have been pure-bred timber wolves lived as non-luperci ferals for most generations in North Canada prior to Catherine's luperci infection. Only after Catherine joined AniWaya and later Augustinia, have they lived a more humanized lifestyle, as well as lose most of their wolf genetics thanks to heavy hybridization with landrace dogs. Despite the dimming of the physical traits, Akreons have shown deeper instincts to their wolf ancestors often, especially when removed from a humanized group or family members, and can adapt to a feral lifestyle very easily.

3.  Defining Features

General information about features that define this family.

3.1  Physical Features

  • Akreons tend to be slim and with few defined muscles in their long limbs.
  • Recent generations show more dog features than older ones, but wolf traits will show more easily in members of the family.
  • Sharp features and round wolfish ears show often.

Eyes

Green is the clearest and most enduring trait to the Akreon family line, although multiple shades of yellow-greens and blue-greens have cropped up on occasion in the later generations. Heterochromia showing flecks or inner rings of Catherine's original bright green are also common.

Fur

Shades of gray and off-whites are most common, though small patches of reddish and ginger fur show just as often. Long and thick pelt from the Spitz and wolf traits in the family has been dimmed by the addition of mutt genes in the family, and feathering on the legs and ears has started to show, mostly in the more recent generations.

Conforming fur:

  • Currently, none.
