Willam is a pointer-mix Luperci dog that was born to a slave woman in Portland. He was hired as an indentured servant by Baelish D'Angelo in the Spring of 2019.
Willam's mother had been a working girl and then eventually an apprentice fish-monger in Portland, working the docks. Eventually purchased by her lover and father to Willam, she was set free before Willam's second month, therefore Will never knew the suffering of slavery. Loved and cherished by both his mother and father, the boy longed for more than just the fish hocker's life. Innately curious and bright, especially in the ways of the natural world, Willam would often sneak away from his duties at his family's stall to explore the outskirts of the city, where broken concrete gave way to forests.
The boy is fond of small animals, finding insects especially fascinating. He also loves the diversity of plants; whether mundane, poisonous, or beautiful. He dreams of becoming an apothecary.
In the Spring of 2019, he met Baelish injured on the docks late at night, and tended to his wounds. Baelish found worth in the boy, and offered him the adventure of a lifetime, the chance to escape the city and go North to Nova Scotia. After discussing with his parents, they agreed. In return, Baelish bought the majority of their smoked fish stocks, and traded for a small Icelandic horse for Willam himself. He was eager to please and learn in the new environment that awaited him.
Willam served as a ward to Baelish and his family for over a year and lived near them in Mistfell Vale until its disbandment. After that he set out on his own and returned, begrudgingly, to what he knew best; fishing. Eventually, he found himself offered the opportunity to travel across the ocean to Ireland, which he eagerly accepted.
