Tweed Valentine is a member of Salsola, where he was born and raised.

The second son of Morgana Revlis and Brocade Valentine, Tweed was born alongside two siblings: Grenfell and Angora. As the second litter born to their high-ranking and well-off parents, Tweed and his siblings were brought into a prosperous household and lived for most of their young lives within the borders of Salsola proper. It was here that Tweed learned what it meant to have expectation loom like a shadow, and later still what it meant to wield a sword.

They moved at Morgana’s bequest to take care of her ailing mother - moving from the Kingdom to Chesapeake Bay. The journey splayed the family across the country, though it birthed a roguish longing for adventure that Tweed had only heard told in his Father’s often repeated tales (you know, wandering hearts and all that). The journey left him with a curiosity towards his history, for life on the road suited him more than he ever thought it would.

In late Summer of 2023 he decided to make the journey back to Salsola on his own - though it did not take long for his older sister to catch up to him. Together they returned to their birthplace, eager to see what changes had befallen their home in their absence.

Physical

Tweed is large for his age, with shoulders that are surrounded in a familiar ruff of wolf-like fur. It is apparent through most of his features that he has been heavily influenced by the wolf in both of his parents - with a thick muzzle and small bear-like ears. His coloration is also almost agouti, with a shimmer of silver and gold that flow over his body and adjust to even warmer tones around his legs and across the bridge of his nose.

All in all, he resembles a warm toned wolf, with dashes of cinnamon and cream through his fur. He maintains a leaner build which allows him to ride horses and maintain speed and agility in all forms if needed. He has a rangy look to him overall, which is not helped by the fact that his hair is in a constant state of being mussed. A cowlick forces it to constantly fall in his eyes when not tied back.

Tweeds face is completed with bright blue eyes that are a throw to the dog in his lineage.

Tweed does not understand that he is moderately attractive. He pines to have scars like his brother and father but at this moment is too soft to throw himself into a position to get one.

YET.

Time away from Salsola has seen Tweed mature into an affable young man. He is uncomplicated and free, the sort of boy who will eagerly scale a tree to see how tall it is without thinking ahead to how to get back down. With a keen imagination, Tweed teeters between being too loud and too soft. He is intimidated by most women (thanks Taffetta) and those who hold lofty positions. He finds himself quite content to observe though has been known to have the occasional competitive streak when it comes to his siblings.

He has a penchant for music, and has been known to sing and dance if the party is good enough.

Tweed is eager to see the world, and has inherited a love of stories from his father. The History of Salsola and Ame-Rouge have always captured his imagination - with bloodlines like maps that divide and multiply with each generation. Morgana taught him what it means to pay attention (a difficult task for a young man) and though Tweed has no great ambition, he can’t help but deep down want to make his Mother proud.

Tweed returns to Salsola a man with no plan, save for to survive amongst snakes.
