Toshiro Ganesa

Toshiro Ganesa is the biological son of Aeron Ganesa and Helotes Lykoi. He was raised by his polygamist parents, Aeron Ganesa, Charm Sawtooth, Panda Behr, and Venom Trombetta. He was ranked Tuyul, the pack's tradition keeper, and for a brief while, shared the title of Angelo with his brother Kentaro Lykoi. He had a reputation as the "good son", a stark contrast to his dark brother, but he was not without his vices. A hidden incestuous affair with both Kentaro and Isolde Sawtooth led to his entanglement in a violent family drama; he was ultimately killed in March 2016 by a vengeful Amorette Aston and Domovoi Tarasova.^[M]

1.  History

Toshiro was born to Aeron Ganesa and Helotes Lykoi on December 21, 2012. His birth was the result of a agreement for stud services on Helotes' account, since Aeron and her mate Charm Sawtooth, being of the same gender, could not conceive without the aid of a willing male. He was close with his brother Kentaro and half-sister Isolde during their youth, but soon Kent's harsh lessons pulled him into his own world and created distance. Toshiro and Isolde maintained a special relationship, as Toshi viewed her as something innocent worth protecting.

When Tyko Amini breached the pack, Toshiro bravely tried to stop him, despite being only a puppy; he used his wits to escape with only minor injuries, and raised the alarm to stop the intruder. The day for his coming-of-age ceremony arrived, and demanded an animal sacrifice. Lacking the skills to hunt, Toshi used his intelligence to craft a trap, and presented a stag sacrifice - crafting a headdress from the skull and antlers, and thoughtfully creating a bone bracelet to gift his sister. Aeron told him, "The Stag is an animal of power and pride. He hold himself well and can take out many of our kind. The fact that you got one is a symbol of your power." Toshiro was well-versed in Anathema lore, and requested his adult rank as the tradition keeper.

Aeron's health declined after the birth of her last son, Viper, and when her infant was abducted, she plunged into a cycle of depression and neglect. Toshiro remained at her side as much as he could, seeking only to ease her suffering. Kentaro on the other hand saw his opportunity and gathered supporters, culminating in a challenge for the rank of Angelo. Aeron relinquished rule of Anathema, and Kentaro became the youngest pack leader in their history. Toshi was unsettled by the shift in power, and retreated into his studies, offering neither dissent or support -- for a while. However, Kentaro's unseemly plans for Isolde pushed him to take action.

Secretly jealous of their relationship, he opposed his brother and sister's mateship, and used his political sway to force them to disband the coupling. Toshiro, with his reputation for levelheadedness and reliability, came to briefly share the title of Angelo with Kentaro Lykoi. He was a stark contrast to his dark brother, but he was not without his vices. 2.  Personality

Toshiro's name means ‘intelligent’ which suits him, and it shows as he often prefers to simply sit back and assess the situation before making any judgments or decisions. Toshiro is protective of his female family members, especially his mothers Aeron and Charm, and his sister Isolde. Being raised by two mothers, Toshiro is totally comfortable in the presence of females and as he matures, this will become something of an advantage to him on the dating scene. Thus far, he has more interest in reading books than chasing tail like his father; he may be waiting for someone who can challenge his tactical intelligence.

Toshi is the moral compass to many of his packmates, most of all his dark brother Kentaro, but he does not fault them for their weaknesses (so long as they do not bring harm to his family). At his best, he is chivalrous and self-sacrificing; at his worst, he comes across as sanctimonious and controlling. The boy is fiercely loyal to Anathema and his family, and being the son of the Angela, Toshiro feels it is his duty to behave fairly well as whatever he does is a reflection of not just him but his whole pack. He is something of a gentle giant. The pack is somewhere he feels safe, and while in the presence of strangers or outsiders, his behavior is calm and respectful; at times when he is in the company of only close family and friends, he lets his guard down and a playful, affectionate side emerges.

5.  Appearance

Toshiro’s body has taken on the fiery coloration of his mother, Aeron, but in darker hues, like his father, Helotes. His main pelt coloration is a ruddy rope color, fading to a lighter color on his underside and he has several instance of brandy beige in his coat, mostly on his underbelly but also on his back legs, tail and the inside of his ears. On Toshiro's snout is the most vivid of his colors, a brown bramble blaze, inherited from his Lykoi father. This identifies his lineage and he quickly notices that none of the other members of Anathema have such a marking (excluding his brother). Toshiro's eyes are a beautiful rich Shakespeare blue; a rarity in both sides of his heritage, a feature that when he grows older, he will use to his own advantage when it comes to seducing a mate.

He has his father's build, and looks more like a coyote than anything else. He is larger than his brother Kentaro, in weight and height, his long legs obvious even as a pup, and while he is larger than his sibling, still he manages to keep something of a lean form. His young age means that he carries no scars or nicks from fighting, despite his playful tussles with his brother.

Rope —His main pelt coloration is a ruddy rope color, fading to a lighter color on his underside.

Brandy beige —Toshiro has several instance of brandy beige in his coat, mostly on his underbelly but also on his back legs, tail and the inside of his ears.

Graphite —The darkest color on Toshiro's body is graphite. This is can most intensely be seen on a mask around his eyes and muzzle, the back of his ears, his front legs, and his scruff.

Brown bramble —On Toshiro's snout is the most vivid of his colors, a brown bramble blaze, inherited from his Lykoi father.

Shakespeare blue —Toshiro's eyes are a beautiful Shakespeare blue; a rarity in both sides of his heritage.
