Theron Caine is a quiet yet curious Luperci, that often has trouble keeping up any lengthy conversations. He's training to become a true craftsman, but prefers to work with wood, bone, and occasionally leather or other materials. The male is decent with a bow, but is looking to train in hand to hand or blade combat.
Theron loves collecting all sorts of trinkets or objects. Trade with him or go adventuring somewhere to explore and plunder.
Theron wants to learn how to read, but doesn't know who or where to go to start. Help him out?

Anathema members may assume and reference the following without discussion/asking:
That Theron is working and/or resting in his room or in a less traveled area near the castle.
Seeing Theron exploring the land, any nearby ruins, etc.
That Theron is training with his bow.
Species: Roughly the size of a wolf, but lean like a coyote. The only part of him that clearly resembles that he is part dog is his left ear, which droops down.
Fur: He has short to medium length fur, which grows out more around his feet and the scruff of his head/neck. It's neither soft nor wiry
Optime Hair: Doesn't let any hair grow out, keeping it as it would look in his lupus form.
Facial Features: Average in size, with a fairly long yet thin muzzle. One ear is nearly entirely missing, the other constantly drooped down.
Build and Size: Theron is quite tall given his build and weight, making him quite lean, perhaps even looking malnourished, though is still capable in his strength and agility. He stands tall, but keeps his head low most of the time, uneasy around groups.
Lupus: Theron is of average height, yet is very thin for a wolf, with slightly shorter fur.
Secui: As per the usual, in this form Theron stands a bit taller, and his build is thicker throughout, though more notable changes are that his tail elongates slightly, his paws grow large, and his canines protrude a bit from beneath his upper lip
Optime: In this form Theron is decidedly taller than he appears he should be given his Lupus form, though is very thin. In this form, Theron grows into the slightly too-large features of his Secui stage.
Humanization: Theron is very interested in the past, what the humans were, and did. He often doesn't wear clothes but isn't opposed to doing so, sometimes wearing pants, or a cloak. He almost always carries a satchel and wears his shemagh, (scarf) and enjoys wearing necklaces or bracelets.
Theron's primary coat colors are a mixture of several different tans and browns.
Secondary coat color is an off-white, leading into a bit of gray.
He has a stripe of dark brown, nearly black fur running from the top of his head to about midway down his tail, that bleeds into the rest of his fur.
Second type of marking here: Off-White belly and throat.
Eyes: A deep yellow shade that bleeds with a dark tan.
Right ear is mostly missing, having been torn off.
Deep claw marks on the back right of his head, leading up to where his ear was tattered.
Small, light scar marks scattered across his chest, back, and arms.
Deeper, more frequent scarring along his forearms and paws.
One long scar on his right palm, received from Anathema’s Rite of Agares
Theron often doesn't wear much more than his shemagh, satchel, and some sort of jewelry or accessories, but occasionally will wear a pair of pants or a cloak to cover or conceal himself.
Jewelry and Accessories
Thin leather straps wrapped around his wrists like bracelets.
Cloth or bandage wrap on his fingers, hands, or arms.
Five necklaces made of bone arrowheads and thin rope.
A satchel made of leather and heavy gray cloth.
A Shemagh (Scarf) that is worn as a head wrap, or around his neck.
A Hakama (Pants) that he wears occasionally.
A Cloak he wears in the rain.
76 lbs (34 kg)
31 in (79 cm)
Uses whenever he's trying to hide, or be swift.
142 lbs (64 kg)
42 in (107 cm)
Almost never uses the form. When he does it's likely an emergency.
176 lbs (80 kg)
6ft 7in (79 in / 201 cm)
Is almost always found in this form. It's the most convenient for both his work and his hobbies.
Speech: Quiet, slightly hoarse. Generally doesn't speak more than a few words or sentences.
Scent: Earthy, slightly musky. Smells somewhat of freshly split wood after he's been working.
Quirks, Gestures, Etc.: Gets uncomfortable around large groups. Doesn't like showing his ears. Ears twitch from time to time. Frequently drifts off, either due to lack of sleep or getting lost in his thoughts.
General Posture and Body Language: Stands tall and upright, but usually keeps his head low. Looks uneasy, but not mild or weak.
Observant: Theron is often content to sit back and watch as the world moves along without his influence. He often stops to take in his surroundings, enjoying the beauty of nature and it's inhabitants.
Curious: Anything out of place or even something that blends in so well as to be hidden can catch Theron's eye. He often will pause in the middle of doing something to investigate whatever caught his attention.
Quiet: Theron doesn't like to be long-winded or loud, so he generally keeps his comments short, and his tone low. This can sometimes come off as him being uninterested. He dislikes having to explain things, but would rather someone fully understood him than to only get part of an idea.
Down to Earth: Realistic, and doesn't embellish anything. Will tell someone how it is with honesty, but won't do something that could hurt someone physically or emotionally if he could help it.
Humble: Doesn't think of himself highly, and will readily downplay his part in anything. Won't accept praise more than a simple thank you. Theron grew up being told that even his small failures outweigh his larger achievements, and has trouble believing otherwise.
Pack Rat: Theron is a collector at heart, and loves finding and keeping all sorts of strange trinkets or items, whether they are useful or worthless.
Outlook: Usually Optimistic.
Sociability:Introverted. Prefers to be dominant, but can easily be submissive.
Expression: Situation dependant. Generally reclusive.
Likes: Exploring ruins, Rain, Thunder, Fog, Collecting old relics/trinkets, Wood working, Leather, Books, Shooting, Music, Contemplation, His Shemagh, The color Green.
Dislikes: Physical punishment, Strict lifestyles, Bladed weapons, Pitch darkness, Groups of people, Earthquakes, Landslides
Sleeping (Constant nightmares)
Large bodies of water
Non-Luperci: Doesn't mind them one way or another. Respects their choice to not be a Luperci.
Gender: Uneasy around strong males that are loud, brash, or commanding.
Sexuality: Dislikes when people judge others for their sexuality.
Age: Holds elders in a slightly higher regard than others by default.
Theron doesn't really prefer either gender over the other, finding some from both sexes to be attractive. He doesn't really pursue anyone though, afraid to open up to anyone on more than a friendly level. He's not very interested in being sexually active, he just sees it as something that could come with a relationship. While he doesn't go out of his way to get into a relationship, he sees nothing wrong with polygamy. Should he find someone attractive, he would likely ignore it unless he knew the other person felt the same, but if he confessed he would more than likely just be blunt about it.
Dislikes smoking but doesn't mind if others do it around him. Enjoys alcohol but only drinks it for special occasions.
Theron doesn't have any firm beliefs at the moment, simply believing that the world is full of strange ideals and concepts. He cares more about firm knowledge than belief, though stories are alright by him. The closest thing to a belief he has is that nature has a way of communicating and interacting with it's inhabitants, be it directly or indirectly. He does not currently perform any types of rituals. He believes that death is final for one's body, though they may remain with their kin in spirit.
Ashe Cheron Childhood friend, born only a few weeks after Theron. The two spent most of their time together either at work or at play. Theron doesn't know the fate of Ashe, who saved his life just moments before he departed his birth pack to flee North.
Anaxagoras Caine Theron's father, who was always tough and strict with his pack, and even more so on Theron, his only surviving pup. Throughout Theron's life, he has rarely shown the boy any kindness or praise, dissatisfied with the performance of his offspring. He was the main source of pain and punishment for Theron, and the driving force in his desertion.
Nyx One of the first in Anathema to reach out to him. Nyx showed him around the territory when he first arrived, and has been a good friend to him since, though her personality conflicts with his own at times, he tends to open up more when she's around.
Education and Learning: Theron was born into a pack that placed a high value on one's ability to hunt. He cared more about his hobbies than hunting, so wasn't as skilled as many of his other packmates and was ridiculed because of it. He grew better at navigation as he explored the land around his home, and his skill only grew when he eventually too the long journey to Anathema after he left his pack.
Navigation (Journeyman): Using maps or the land to move about in the world with intention, or to track a person or game through the wild.
Hunting (Apprentice): Trapping, catching, or killing animals for food and supplies.
Has a habit of getting disoriented if he travels too far without keeping track of his surroundings.
Has trouble focusing while on the hunt, often misses good opportunities. Can hesitate.
Education and Learning: In Theron's birth pack, from a young age he had an interest in crafting and manipulating wood. The pack leaders noticed and he was quickly placed with a craftsman and started learning how to put his interest to use for his pack and learned how to craft bows and arrows for hunting, able to make equipment of decent quality. His interest in wood and bone carving other types of objects is self practiced and taught.
Fletcher (Journeyman): Crafting arrows and stabilizing them for proper flight. A skill he learned in tandem with his bow crafting.
Bowyer (Journeyman): Theron's strongest skill. He still has a ways to go before he can make the perfect bow, but he's satisfied with the quality of his work. He can make a decent self bow within the span of an afternoon if he had the proper materials.
Carving (Apprentice): Crafting artistic or functional pieces out of a single or multiple sources of wood or bone. More of a hobby for Theron, as he likes to make figurines mostly.
Very meticulous to detail. Not a bad quality per se, but has a habit of starting from scratch or completely redoing sections of the work should something go wrong.
Is still practicing and working to improve, so quality of his work is satisfactory, but not perfect.
Education and Learning: Theron was never much of a fighter, but he learned how to shoot a bow to hunt, as well as to ensure that the pieces he crafted were of quality. He was never taught to fight, only to shoot, but he got in a few scraps when he was young, and occasionally fought back when he was being punished. He can't really fight back unless he has a bow in hand, but he can at least defend himself from getting as badly wounded.
Archery (Journeyman): Theron's best fighting skill. He has a decent aim, and can fire quickly, but still needs practice before he could apply it to much more than hunting and target practice.
Feral Fighting (Dabbler): Using his fangs, claws, and everything else to hold back his opponents. He isn't very good at fighting back, but can defend himself for at least a short while.
Can fire quickly, but isn't as accurate. Sometimes loses focus and misses the target. Can't use heavy weight bows so his range is shorter than true archers.
Can't fight well at close range, and can get overpowered.
Education and Learning: Growing up in a pack that disapproved of anything human-made only made Theron's curiosity for them greater. He tried to learn what he could on his own, but to little merit. What he learned from his pack on the other hand was much more fruitful, how to understand the basics of Low Speech. He rarely uses it, but it has it's benefits from time to time.
Low Speech (Apprentice): A simplistic and very basic understanding of Low Speech.
Reading/Writing (Dabbler): More of an interest at this point, but hopes to grow his understanding soon. He knows what some letters are and their sound, but that's about it.
Can't always make out something in Low Speech, given his limited training and use with it.
Theron isn't one yet, but he's looking to become a trader, and a craftsman of sorts.
