Sindri Eklund is the son of Ragna Eklund and Brocade Valentine (Bastian Montgomery), and is the brother to Skadi Eklund and Steinarr Niequist. He was born into Mistfell Vale as a Snap, later ranking up to a Whalstray upon reaching shifting age. He remained within the pack with his family up until its disbandment in June 2020.

- Parents: Due to the circumstances of his conception, Sindri never knew his sire, and was raised solely by his mother, Ragna. She often described his father as a "handsome fighter," but offered little else in regards to who he was other than he looked very similar to Sindri and Steinarr.
- Siblings: Sindri lost his brother, Steinarr, when he was a young pup due to a vengeful coyote. He has only known his sister, Skadi, and their adoptive "brother," a bear named Einarr.
