Rúni Stormbringer

Rúni Stormbringer is the son of Lilin Soulstorm and Saul Stormbringer, the founding leaders of Vinátta. He was born in the autumn of 2012 alongside his siblings Lund and Sólieri, and lived in Vinátta until spring 2014. Sólieri's abduction lead Saul to abdicate rule and go on a journey to find her; Rúni was unwilling to let his father go alone, and opted to travel with him into the unknown.

History

• Born to co-leaders Saul Stormbringer and Lilin Soulstorm in Vinátta, between his siblings Lund and Sólieri. ^[1]
• Grew up in Vinátta with many of his Stormbringer relatives. Had a peaceful childhood.
• In April 2013, his mother abdicates her position as leader and leaves the pack, taking Lund with her and ending her mateship to Saul. ^[2]
• In September 2013, Rúni went on a solo journey that ended terribly.^[3] He was found emaciated and flea-ridden after being assaulted by a loner, and required a long recuperation. ^[4]
• Rúni's body healed over the winter, but his mind was plagued with fears and a growing sensitivity to the supernatural. He developed agoraphobia^[5], and remained close to home until his sister Sólieri went missing. ^[6]
• In April 2014, Saul chose to leave the pack to search full-time for Sólieri. Rúni would not allow his father to travel alone, and swallowed his fears to go along with him into the unknown. ^[7]

Appearance

As a puppy, Rúni was almost a perfect mixture of his two siblings. A theme of Driftwood (#B18C45) and Teak (#b99e69) is dominant, accentuated by a blanket of Dallas Bronze (#654e29) encompassing the top part of his body from his shoulders/upper back, and ending in a mottled mask covering his facial features. A Sorrel Beige (#C6AE82) lightens his chest, slightly blushing up his neck and reaching down between his front legs. Similar to both his siblings, Rúni has socks - the front ones sporting a shade similar to his chest in coloration, while his back toes exhibit a darker hue similar to the streak on his back.

His eyes are Sycamore (#6a903b) in color, nearly identical to his sire and grandsire. Wears the customary Vinattan Frithr necklace. As he grew into adulthood, Rúni began to resemble his sire more closely, with thickening streaks of dark grey breaking up the bronze colors of his pelt. The grey is especially prominent in his Optime coat.
