Ruckus is a young street-smart boy who was abandoned not soon after he completed his first shift. His parents are a forgettable pair of dogs who were ill-prepared for the responsibility that came with children. Originally known as James Cooper, Ruckus was renamed in the Concrete Jungle after being found by Ciprian Tenebriso.

Ruckus is a too-thin dog with scrawling tattoos over each of his arms and shoulders. The most discernable of these markings is a large eye and a flapping bird - the rest crudely whorled and spun together in dark ink. His hair is lopsided and greasy, hanging in dark tendrils around his bi-colored eyes. The dog always wears a thick leather collar that jingles lightly as he moves. His fur is thin enough that on his chest you can make out the freckles through his coat. Ruckus was not made for the cold and so in winter tends to wrap himself in layer upon layer to stay warm.

In the fall of 2018 Ciprian took Odalis Amaranthe and Issola Haskel from their home. Ruckus cared for them to the best of his ability while beginning to question the motives of his saviour.

Ruckus helped to set Odalis and Issola free from their captor and later killed Ciprian Tenebriso.

He wandered alone before winding up in Portland and joining a group known as The Troupe, acting as a body guard over the rest of its members. He has partnered with Mateo Salcedo and follows him on business ventures as the charming man wanders through out the territory.
