Things to think about:
- Relationships with Pipra's family are up to the adopter! Did she love her gaggle of siblings? Does she resent the fact that her Father was going to try to marry her off to the highest bidder? Will she end up with multiple husbands or choose to strike her own traditions? ... What is the family business? Is she running away or from Anisat?
Much of what is lain out below is simply a guide for whoever chooses to adopt Anisat - the world is your oyster! Her culture is loosely inspired by what I imagine a Grassland Tribe could look like. They use their own family as assets (which is why Aleph has Five wives and thirteen children) and use the children to improve their connections and station in the Grassland through trade, marriage, or anything else you can think of!

Pipra is confident, loud, and unafraid to meet the world with a mouthful of questions. As a young woman, she is keen to prove to herself that she is capable on her own. This can make her stubborn and unrelenting when she sets a goal for herself to accomplish – such as following after Anisat in an effort to claim some adventure for herself. Having never been taught to read or write, Pipra is intrigued by the spoken word. She is an astute actress with a beautiful singing voice – and she has the gift of perfect pitch. Her curse is that she has terrible stage fright. When backed into a corner Pipra can unleash quite a temper, though it is the sort that fizzles out soon after its release. Now on her own, she is intrigued by cursing, and enjoys throwing out the occasional curse as if to prove to her Mother that she will ‘’not’’ in fact be smited down with lightning. This has quickly become one of her favorite @#*$& aspects of living alone. The young coy-dog has managed to make it this far using her keen wit, but despite her best intentions, she misses her family terribly. Going it alone is quite the change from being surrounded by a family that is larger than life. |

Pipra (who often goes by Pip) and her twin sister, Sidra, are mirror images of one another. Their family is large and sprawling, but each of them are a solid mix of gold and ebony. Their Mother, Umbra, is a classic shepherd dog – and most of her looks have been passed to her children. Pipra is coated in a coat of mostly shadowy hues, though this lightens upon her face and chest. Her legs and toes are smattered in the same pale sandy shade. Her face is sharp and pointed like her Father's, a trait that some of his children have inherited. Pipra is fast on her feet, happy to run and jump and leap with the best of them. As the youngest of her family, she has been doted upon by her siblings and parents – a true example of a pampered daughter. She had large almond-shaped eyes that are a rich shade of mahogany - despite her best attempts, they are easy to read, and she struggles to hide her emotions. She is on the thin side, with a waifish frame and a feathery tail. In Optime she is on the shorter side, and despite her family’s work with horses finds herself more interested in gobbling up information about the far-off lands that surround her home. At her core, Pipra is a gregarious adventurer. |

Pipra grew up in a wide-open grassland (likely somewhere in Mid-West America) that her family often travelled through. Her family specializes in a myriad of trades in an effort to pull in whatever coin they can - namely horse flesh, jewelry, and women. Her Father, Aleph proved industrious and soon after leaving his home began a life with his first wife, Visha. In an effort to grow they introduced a second wife... and eventually, this became five wives. Their territory is known as a popular place for thieves and vagrants, so having more hands made it easier to work their animals and increase their connections. Many of Pipra's sisters are married to neighbouring families in an effort to increase safe areas for grazing and travel. Pipra was born sometime in 2021 to parents Aleph and her birth-mother Umbra, in an attempt to bring more sons into the world. Instead, Pipra (and her twin, Sidra) was born to a litter of daughters - all of which grew up surrounded by a large family with expectations to bring wealth and honor to Alephs name. Her brothers are eager to find wives of their own and have each amassed a sizable piece of land for themselves to homestead on and raise children. When Anisat disappeared, Pipra realized that there was a whole life just waiting for her. Choice awaited, and so, a few weeks later, she left too. |
