Otilie Novak

Otilie Novak was a coywolf from Terchová. She was born and raised there, living a mostly-feral, nomadic lifestyle as a member of the Tráva Clan.

Following a period of tension between young members of her clan and neighboring Tesák, Otilie and a group of others took matters into their own hands. This resulted in a large conflict which injured many and cost a few their lives. Horrified and ashamed of her own involvement, Otilie fled the area.

Her travels eventually brought her east, looking for somewhere to start her life over again.

In the early Summer of 2018 Otilie joined Inferni as a Tirones just before its disbandment. Believing that her spirits had somehow followed her and wished ill upon her newfound home she has split off from the Clan - confused and alone and believing that somehow it was her fault.

In the wake of the disbandment, Otilie decided to stay behind in the Clan's old territory and struck up an unlikely friendship with Vesper and Clover. She provided for them as a hunter and gatherer.

After being caught in an old trap and betrayed by a man who she thought would be her savior, Otilie Novak was [M] brutally murdered by a ghost from her past on November 26th, 2018.

4.  History

4.1  Overview

Emmett' Otilie was born to a large family within the Tráva Clan, a nomadic group which followed a lifestyle not unlike their ancestors and traveled after moving herds. Her maternal grandparents were wanderers who had brought unique ideas and bloodlines to their family, including the blue eyes which set Otilie apart from her siblings.

Friendly and outgoing Otilie was quick to make friends within her clan, and was very popular with her peers and adults alike. Very daring and never one to back down from a challenge, this led to some incidents of youthful foolishness – like spooking large animals for fun, or harassing loners – with her more questionable friends. This same group would later instigate conflicts with Tesák,the neighboring clan within the area. Though these started as small, isolated incidents, they eventually spiraled out of control.

After a death of a Tesák member, a massive brawl broke out between these groups. This battle was short-lived and savage, and cost both sides lives. Many were injured as well. Though the Clan leaders eventually came to an agreement, guilt and shame (and perhaps fear of repercussions) drove Otilie to abandon her clan, family, and homeland.

She traveled at first with two of her friends, though the relationship between them soured along the way and they split up within a few weeks. Alone and uncertain of herself, Otilie sought out others – she eventually heard of the Nova Scotia packs through a trader, and traveled to the area hoping to find a permanent place to live.
