• Species: Ossidael is primarily a jackal, though his heritage is muddled (no less helped that his parents are siblings). He bears evidence of jackal most strongly, in his overlarge ears, sharply featured face, and slim muzzle. Coyote and wolf both muddle his features, however, and he is doubtless a hybrid. Most unfamiliar with jackals will mistake him for a coyote hybrid.
• Fur: Short and ill-suited to cold, though he is better protected than his smaller half-brother. Ossidael generally dresses warmly in winter, and remains close to fire and warmth where possible.
  • Optime Hair: Very straight and kept long, pulled back into a simple ponytail.
• Facial Features: Primarily jackal, with heavy evidence of both coyote and wolf. He has a longer muzzle than most jackals, with larger teeth and a stronger bite.
• Build and Size: Although he is not as small as purebred jackal, Ossidael is still petite in comparison to most, and is easily towered over. He has a muscular form primarily as a result of training and keeping after himself. Lacking in size, he makes up for it by conditioning his body.

• As with his fathers, Ossidael is believed to be the personification of a deity. Specifically, he is Atum, "one of the most important and frequently mentioned deities from earliest times ... he is portrayed as both a creator and father to the king." Machidael takes great pleasure in "creating the creator god" of course.
• Ossidael views his body as merely a "coil" -- a means of exerting his influence directly upon the mortal realm. Relating to the fatherly aspect of his deity in particular, he seeks to produce offspring to mold in his image, enabling him to continue to "rule" even once his form expires.
