Minor NPCs and crap that don't deserve their own pages. This page is intended to work as a COMPREHENSIVE page of all a player's NPCs. c:
1. Using NPCs in Threads
If your character is in the same pack as my characters (and therefore their NPCs), feel free to reference these characters as being seen around the packlands, etc. in your posts. If you'd like actual interaction with these characters, that's cool, but please let me know what you're doing with them via PM. Special notes are added about each of the characters here, as well -- please pay attention to them, and make sure you are adhering to that character's temperament, etc.
2. Svasra's Companions
Svasra's companions.
2.1 Vane
Vane | |
Species | Friesian Horse |
Date of Birth | Unknown |
Gender | Male |
Name | |
Pronunciation |
Vay-n |
Nickname |
- |
Meaning |
A guiding tool |
Origin |
Latin |
Origin
Svasra traded a piebald snakeskin for him with a bunch of Frenchmen. They thought the snakeskin was "embowed with powers beyond her comprehension," and she knows she cheated them but doesn't give a damn.
Description
While she knew little about horses before meeting Vane, Svasra has come to believe that he is large for his species (she is not aware of his breed), and she thinks he's very beautiful. He has jet black fur and a long, noble nose. His mane is kept long, but clean and untangled.
About
Vane is spirited and a bit difficult to control sometimes, but he's not unreasonable. Svasra has learned to deal with him, and they work relatively well together. Most of the time he is gentle, and if he's been cooped up in the stables for long, he's always happy to see her when she visits.
Residence
Allowed free range of the land around Svasra's cabin.
3. Saut's Companions
Saut Asylum's companions.
3.1 Claptrap
Claptrap | |
Species | Raven |
Date of Birth | ~Late 2012 |
Gender | Female |
Name | |
Pronunciation |
Clap-trap |
Nickname |
Clap |
Meaning |
Nonsense |
Origin |
English |
Origin
Claptrap is not Inferni-born. She was raised elsewhere in Nova Scotia, and left her murder to follow a pair of wolves who shared minnows with her one day while fishing. She grew close to them, and they helped her improve her High Speech. Unwilling to follow them too far, however, she bid them farewell after a few months and eventually found her way to Inferni. She joined the murder and became fond of the coyotes, as well. One day she decided to peck on Saut's window until he'd come out and help her get into a tough carcass. She kept doing this for a long time, and then followed him when he staggered, grief-stricken and disoriented, to the D'Neville Mansion upon hearing of Kaena Lykoi's death. Since them they have taken to each other.
Description
While not abnormal, Clap does appear to be a larger representative of her species. Her feathers are sleek and well-preened.
About
Sweet, but not overly friendly. Claptrap speaks broken High Speech, but for whatever reason she has trouble understanding it at times, and often has to ask Saut to repeat what he says. She will not, however, as this of unfamiliar Luperci. She would rather be confused than seem unintelligent. Claptrap dislikes blatant coyote supremacy, and will fly away if someone bashes wolves in front of her.
4. Bluethroat's Companions
Bluethroat Versailles's companions.
4.1 Emperor
Emperor | |
Species | Morgan horse |
Date of Birth | Early 2011 |
Gender | Male |
Name | |
Pronunciation |
Em-purr-er |
Nickname |
- |
Meaning |
Monarch |
Origin |
Latin |
Origin
Emperor was one of Morning Versailles's first major trades - she gave two young grade colts for him in the first few months of Versailles's existence, and trained him herself. Technically he is a grade horse with likely Morgan ancestry. Morning gifted him to Bluethroat when she proved herself a talented rider.
Description
He sports a unique cremello coat and a sporty appearance that first drew Morning's attention, even when he was a foal. He has a shallow scar on his right flank from a fight with another stallion.
About
Emperor is good-natured and willing towards Luperci. He doesn't startle easily, and while he'll take most riders he's most reliable under Blue. He is aggressive towards other stallions if a mare is present, so if he's to be kept with them he should be introduced to the them in a controlled environment under Blue's watchful eye..
Residence
Stables by the D'Neville Mansion.
