Mullica Leeds is a wolfdog from Atlantic City, New Jersey. She comes from a sprawling large family -- consisting of two split haves, coyotes and wolves.
Mullica was placed into an "arranged mateship" with a wolf named Sawyer at a young age by her father. She struggled to have children once able, and eventually discovered her mate was cheating on her with a coyote (likely for almost the entirety of their mateship). Mullica was thereafter disgraced-by-proxy due to Sawyer's actions, eventually spurring her to depart from Atlantic City and travel northward with her son Galloway Leeds.

Forms
65 lbs (29 kg) LupusThis form is the most doggish for Mullica. Her build and stance seem more dog than wolf. |
145 lbs (66 kg) SecuiMullica's stockiness and musculature becomes even more apparent in her Secui form. While not an overly large Secui, she is thick and laden with obvious muscle. |
157 lbs (71 kg) Optime (Preferred)Mullica seems to prefer her two-legged form above all else, though she does not disparage the others. |

Timeline
2009
- February 2009: Mullica was born in Leeds Point. Her early life is fairly typical, at least for a casino-dwelling canine of Atlantic City. Raised alongside a much more wolfish sister named for their revered great progenitor, Mullica was always pretty much the overshadowed quiet one.
- November 2009: With her somewhat delayed shift at eight months (exacerbating her quiet and desire to establish herself), Mullica began entering the parties of the adults. She learned gambling games, poker becoming a particular favorite. Her primary distinguishing attribute, at this point, is her propensity for skill, even at a young age, in the gambling vices.
2010
- January 2010: A rare outsider, Sawyer, enters Leeds Point. He is discovered by Mullica's father. Eager for his loyalty and his fresh blood, the Leeds family snaps him up. Mullica's father Ripley arranges a mateship between Mullica and Sawyer -- despite their disparity of age (Sawyer is not old, but at two years to Mullica's nine months, the difference is stark). Sawyer promises not to consummate the mateship until Mullica reaches child-bearing age. Mullica has always viewed this bitterly: Salem was not given to a man until much later. "Good enough for me, but not for the favorite," Mullica says.
- August 2010: Despite her mateship, Mullica's life really has not changed all that much at this point. Though she is well past the point of being able to bear children, her mate shows little interest in her. They live together, rarely speak, and rarely even seen each other: Sawyer is a sailor, and often volunteers for the longer journeys to Chesapeake Bay or Freetown. Even when he is home, he remains in Mullica's company little.
2011
- February 2011: Mullica begins conniving to have her mate sleep with her. She's still a virgin at this point, and though loyal to her mate, is beginning to go a bit mad.
- March 2011: Yay, sex! This becomes a rhythm: Mullica spends several months attempting to seduce her mate (while he is even around, that is), goads him into sex, and then spends the next few weeks disappointed as it becomes increasingly apparent she is not pregnant. There are whispers of her infertility (the woman is always first suspected) among the Leeds canines. Mullica sleeps with another man once, but the experience disgusts her.
- August 2011: To much rejoicing, Mullica turns up pregnant. Hooray!
- October 2011: Mullica gives birth to only one puppy, a boy named Galloway. Though suspicions of infertility are off, whispers of weakness pervade the casino. Galloway is strapping and healthy, but he had no siblings -- not even stillbirths. Mullica don't care. She devotes herself utterly to her son -- much to the relief of Sawyer.
2012
- June 2012: By this point, the whispers of weakness have turned to weirdness and outright accusations. Mullica raises her son oddly even for the Leeds canines; he is rarely seen except for by her side, and refuses to speak unless spoken to. Sawyer becomes even more withdrawn, spending only two of every seven days amongst the Leeds canines -- and perhaps an hour of those two days with his mate.
- This persists for quite some time -- Galloway grows and maintains his stoic exterior, though as he appears to be healthy and mostly normal, the Leeds canines become obsessed with someone else's misfortune in good time. Sawyer's more withdrawn nature is remarked upon, but as he has always been this way, nothing is suspected as being amiss. Mullica, as she was in youth, maintains an extroverted exterior and gregarious nature, oft partaking in the gambling and vices of the Atlantic City canines even as her son sat mutely against one wall, absorbing the revelry, gaming, and partying without a word.
2013
- August 2013: The Leeds canines pretty much explode. Sawyer is discovered to have a coyote lady outside of the city (not an Leeds Point canine, apparently just some lady and some kids who may or may not have been Sawyer's). Sawyer loses all respect pretty much immediately; he's no longer allowed to go raiding, and the canines all but kick him and Mullica out. She is accused of being complicit: and she is, in a way, because her baby daddy is never around and she doesn't question it or care much. Oh yeah, and that coyote lady and her-maybe-Sawyer kids? Yep, they're dead.
- October 2013: Sawyer starts drinking heavily. He beats Mullica one night. Galloway almost kills him, but Mullica has him stop. She goes to her father, Ripley, and her uncle, Ventnor, in turn -- and is turned away. Male cousins and more distant relatives are of even less use. Though she contemplates allowing Galloway to kill his father, she doesn't want her son living with that.
- November 2013: She packs up and pretty much just leaves. North and west and then north and east, looping far inland and away from Freetown for fear of encountering members of her family.
2014
- March 2014: Winds up in Nova Scotia. yey.
