History

Melanthios was born in a small cave. Once the ebony hybrid had grown up- enough to leave home-, he set of in seek of adventure. Lamentably, he got lost a few months after in a dense, wet oak forest. Mercury had also unfortunately stumbled across a badger sett, and the rain was getting heavier- but on the plus side, the scent was kind of stale. Struggling to take in the sights of a resting place, he saw a black and white figure curling up in a hollowed out, fallen-over log of a majestic oak tree. W...What's That? He speculated with slight torment, -it looked like a badger, he had never seen one- but his mother had told him all about them. It looked as if it was eating some freshly-caught prey. Melanthios had never seen the harm in animals like this, so he futilely walked up to the collapsed oak. After padding up to them, they began to release a low growl and turn around to face him in the eyes. He quivered and stepped backwards by an inch- he wanted to turn tail and run , but he knew that he couldn't. What would everyone know him for -if they saw that? A wimp with everything around him to fear? No! He wasn't to run from this badger, he was to prove who was boss to this badger! Just as he was ready to pounce, the badger flattened its fur and smiled. They let out a mixture of a growl and a coo- he could understand that this badger meant no harm, especially from the way it just gave up without attacking. He stared at her, the feeling of confusion flowed in his veins. A friendly Badger?! Mother said they were all a disgrace and a waste of space! he imaged what his mom had told him. He was ready for an attack, but it never came- was this badger.. really to be trusted? Or was it just luring him into its den, so it could eat him for a second meal?

A few days had passed, and he had grown to trust this badger. He had learnt to hunt and fight with this talented badger, but he didn't want to stay around here forever- he wanted adventure, challenges, but he didn't want to leave his friend, he felt worried at the feeling she didn't want to go with him. Padding up to her, he asked hoping that she would understand. Just to make sure she understood, he tried to throw in a small coo and a purr.

Personality

Courteous: Common- He is very respectful and polite , especially to friends and of course to pack members.

Risk-Taking: Occasionally- For him, it kind of depends. He'd risk a lot for his close friends.

Curiosity: Sometimes- He'd ask questions here and there, but not every time something popped up.

Self-Controlled: Typically-

Nurturing: Occasionally- Not really fond of pups, yet he would if their was an explanation towards the reason why he would have to take care of them.

Trusting: Occasionally- He'd trust his close friends and other canines/friendly animals.

Honest: Common- He would never tell a lie, unless it was quite necessary.

Loyal: Common- he is quite loyal towards his friends and canines he deeply trusts.

Rarely-Optimistic: Often- He's quite cheery and confident.

Observant: Generally- He is very aware of his surroundings.

Social: Very outgoing- He hasn't got many friends, so he tends to start a chat every now and again.

Emotions: Fairly controlled- If something to him quite furious, he would obviously be mad, yet he would try to keep it to himself at times.

He would probably be quite easy-going to canines who can relate to him. He's honest, polite and caring- but he can get scared quite easily. He's talkative, and never refuses the chance to make new friends. He is upbeat and joyful, except for when something makes him mad {in that case , we can all guess what happens}.

Appearance

Melanthios is a Hybrid, with a furry jet black coat and a leather-coloured under pelt. His tan belly is dotted along with light brown that blends in with the tawny under fur. The tan undercoat is placed upon the lower muzzle and tail tip, it also spreads from his chin onto the cheeks and around the eyes. He has lemon like eyes that are slightly orange. His pelt is scruffy and ruffled around the neck, but he tries his best to keep it orderly. His sombre coat is glossy in the presence of bright light .He has lengthy , narrow legs with beige paws. The tan chest carries down the suntan to the shoulders of the two front legs. His slightly elongated ears are tan in the inside , getting lighter towards the centre of the ears . He has a slightly heavier build then average. He also has , as a marking , a small white smudge under his eyes , and the tip of his toes. His tan tail connects to his under fur, by stretching down the back of his tail.Around his eyes are lighter, but still dark like the rest of his coat. He has a notched left ear and a scar on his right cheek. His ears are elongated, as part of his 30% Jackal hybrid. He has scruffy, spiked black hair.
