Martina is a very tall and thin luperci with a wispy, wiry coat, and youthful, but distinctly androgynous features; delicately handsome, with a strong jawline, angular nose, and high cheekbones. They are highly humanized, and are typically found in optime form, in a state of dress that is usually casual and gender neutral. If their hair is not loose, it is wrapped up with a scarf to keep it off their face and out of the way.

As a young puppy, they were tomboyish, and insisted that they were to be called by the masculine form of their name, Martí. It seemed to embarrass them to be regarded as feminine. When they saw that their brothers were praised for acting a certain way, they started to mimic them. At first, this worked in their favour. They were given lenience when it came to discipline, and was allowed to participate in activities as one of the boys. This came to an abrupt end by their first heat, but reeling them in proved to be a monumental task. They were feral in their attempts at escape, bent on returning to a lifestyle where they was not enslaved to tradition and expectations. In order to prevent the rebellious offspring from further damaging the reputation of the noble family, they were betrothed to a distant relative living on the North American continent, and sent on a long journey across the Atlantic Ocean. It was unexpected that they went along with the plan so willingly, but as soon as the ship docked, it was clear that they had no intentions of following through with the betrothal.

1.  Appearance

1.1  Essentials

Basics

Martina is a lean and agile dog, obviously a product of selective breeding (and still kept on record), indicated by certain exaggerated features such as their enormous, upright ears, or pale, amber eyes. It is a known fact that they are part wolf, but this fortunately does not show in any obvious ways and out of courtesy no one has ever mentioned it, although they are suspiciously large for a dog. Their top coat is wiry, just long enough to have some movement when they trot; it is trimmed neatly around the face and ears lest they appear scruffy or unrefined. Through the pelt, the definition of their muscles are pronounced. The fur is mostly white, with symmetrical splashes of a ruddy brown hue on their ears, over their eyes, on their back and base of their tail. When they stand stacked, a nearly perfect square can be traced around their frame, despite their distinctly long legs and long neck. Though their gracile body structure suggests that they can keep up with other fast canines, their impressive talent is their exceptional vertical jump. In addition, they are particularly dexterous and well balanced, capable on all four paws as they are in bipedal, optime form.

  • Note: Martina may be 25% wolf through lineage, but phenotypically appears to be an Ibizan Hound with slightly too-broad features. The wolf features are most noticeable in their eye colour, sturdy limbs and hefty paws, and in the slinking way they walk in lupus or secui form, with their head more inline with their shoulders.

On the Kinsey scale, Martina would be rated a 4 - predominantly homosexual, but more than incidentally heterosexual. They are deeply affectionate and prefer physical proximity to others, even without sexual intent. Despite their promiscuity, sex is not always their end-goal. They are non-monogamous, and incapable of monogamy; if your character expects monogamy, they will be cheated on.

Gender

Martina was raised female in a patriarchal environment, and presently only recognizes gender in the binary, despite being a non-binary character. They see gender as a necessary evil of society. They prefer to go by the name Marti for it's ambiguity, and they feel uncomfortable with gendered pronouns, although they aren't able to express these feelings in words. They will use their full name and female-honorifics for special occasions or to posses a sense of authority.
