Lantana del Bosque is a cool coyote archer lady~

Born in Ceniza Valley, she was raised among close-knit family, learning their trickster traditions and skills including hunting and archery. Taken by wanderlust (and encouraged by the stories of another del Bosque's adventures north), Lantana departed the Valley as a young adult. Her travels brought her to the bustling port of New Orleans, where she fell in with a mercenary gang that grew close-knit as seasons passed. However, a dangerous disease ravaged the gang, and due to her companions' actions stopping its spread, Lantana's life was spared at the cost of losing several of her friends.

With the survivors scattered, Lantana ventured out on her own once more.

1.  Characteristics

1.1  Appearance

Physical

Characteristic of her subspecies, Lantana is a small coyote -- though her body is well-toned for archery and endurance. Her coat is a dusty tan agouti with darker accents and a lighter underside; her coloration doesn't stand out among other coyotes but for the cream collar extending up into her scruff (and her mane in Optime form). Her eyes are the most striking part of her general appearance, a rich orange ringed with gold, reminiscent of the flower she was named for.

Lantana shirks clothing, as she shifts frequently, instead opting for accessories that are easy to remove or stay with her, such as bone plugs in her ears. She has several scars, some of which have been darkened with ash, which is also often streaked in bands around her arms.

Interaction
  • Speech: Fast-paced dialect that borrows from Texan and New Mexican quirks. Fluent in Mexican Spanish. Possibly picked up on pidgin languages in New Orleans.
  • Scent: Ash, ---, --
