1. History
Born to Strannik Russo and Anushka Benedikt, along with his two brothers Lazarus and Kirill in Sobratsya, Russia. Wanting his sons to embrace their Russian heritage, Strannik spoke to his children in only Russian. They did learn a small amount of English on the side from their mother, but not much. However, when Strannik was away on fishing trips, Anushka became insatiably drunk, getting sober when her mate finally came back. When the boys were around one year old, Strannik was on another trip and their mother was as drunk as ever. This time however, she actually invited another male over for drunk depression sex. Kiev caught them in the act, and was confused with his mother's infidelity. He did not understand what his mother was doing with this other man he did not know. He threatened his mother with telling his father when he arrived back. Drunk and enraged (but mostly drunk), Anushka grabbed the brow piercing on his face (after two or three attempts of course) and ripped it out, throwing it in his face and yelling at him for disgracing his family. Major thing ommited: she had no idea her son is a complete retard. So she singlehandedly scarred his mind, and his brothers, who heard the racket, took him away and nursed him. Luckily, his memory issues ensured that he would have forgotten the whole ordeal by the next day.
When Strannik arrived back, buisness returned as usual. When Strannik heard of his brother's travel to the Halifax area, he told his family about the news. Lazarus and Kirill immediately suggested the three brothers take a ship there. Delighted that his sons want to sail the seas, he promptly agreed and got them a boat to take, which left from Spain. After a month at sea, a storm off the coast from Halifax crashed the boat on shore. Having woken to the ship half filled with water, Kiev forgot all about the safety of his brothers to explore the strange land where he now resided.
2. Personality
Kiev suffers from Williams Syndrome, which makes him, very muchly, a retard. He displays classic symptoms, such as mental disability (His IQ is 42) and being very verbal and overly sociable. He speaks fluent Russian, but broken English, although he is catching on fast, despite mental retardation. He is left handed, as well as left eye dominant. He also has phonophobia, but still likes music, and possesses "perfect pitch", although he does not play an instrument. he has some speech impediments, but he is still understandable and does not hinder him much.

Taking mostly after his coyote and jackal heritages, Kiev is very coppery colored, having tall dark coyote ears, and a very dark saddle, which is streaked with silver. He has dark eyebrow like markings above his dark/light teal eyes (heterochromia). His undersides, forelegs, and heels are a soft peachy color that match his copper fur. He also has a notable scar on his right brow, where his brow piercing was ripped out by his mahsha. Ouch!
