Dario Bolivar Fuentes De Castaña was born in Cádiz, Spain then traveled to Lisbon, Portugal where he worked as a translator on a trade ship. He came to Nova Scotia after a ship wreck.

1.1 Basics
Essentials
Species: Dario's heritage is very obvious. He looks mostly like a sighthound with heavy influences of Saluki and Afghan Hound blood.
Fur: His coat is moderately long and silky everywhere but his face and a coarse, short haired saddle reaching from his shoulders to his tail tip. Unlike his purebred ancestors before the Luperci virus, Dario's coat sheds twice a year, his tail has no distinctive afghan hound ring, and has a shorter coat. His coat protects him from sharp objects and keeps him comfortable in bad weather. His coat is long enough to be elegant but not long enough to matt easily.
Optime Hair: In his Optime form, he has no mane other than the glossy fur around his ears and topknot. He keeps it long and well groomed.
Facial Features: Dario has a delicate face with a thin muzzle, high cheek bones, and dark eyes. His expression is soft and welcoming.
Build and Size: Dario is slender and very tall. He is well muscled, but he still has a lean physique. He was built to be speedy and agile rather than strong. He carries himself with the elegance and smooth gait of a sighthound.
Lupus: In his lupus form, Dario looks like a tall, hardy Sighthound. His coat hangs longest around his chest and legs. His short haired saddle is visible from all angles. He uses this form to hunt, to travel, and to feel comfortable in extremely cold or hot weather.
Secui: Dario's Secui form is bulky and cumbersome. He does not use this form because it slows him down and he doesn't like the way he looks.
Optime: In his uptime form, Dario has a very human like posture. His saddle is only visible from behind. He uses this form most often.
Humanization: Dario lives a vary humanized life style. He is not fond of clothes but will wear a cape if he needs to. His posture is also very humanlike.

Speech: His voice is low, soft and he never talks any louder than he has too. He has a distinct Spanish accent that is noticeable whenever he speaks. South American Spanish speakers could have trouble understanding him.
Scent: Wood, leather, pine.
Quirks, Gestures, Etc.: He wont eat uncooked meat. He has an urge to clean and organize dirty spaces. He doesn't like canines with bad hygiene.
General Posture and Body Language: Dario has confident posture that is neither imposing nor submissive. He has a very outgoing disposition.
Dario is an pleasant dog to be around. He has a mild disposition and an aura of friendliness that puts others at ease. Despite his large size, he has a nonthreatening character that makes up for any uneasiness due to his appearance.Dario can make a friend out of almost everybody, even canines who are especially shy. If he were to ever come across someone he did not like, he would hide is feelings and find a way to get along. A strong sense of self preservation pushes Dario to develop a good rapport with everyone. Making enemies doesn't make his life any easier. He can be generous, kind, and helpful when it suits him; but the most important thing to Dario is himself. Beneath his simple exterior, Dario's mind is a sea of observations, secrets, and important information he could use to advance himself. there are many parts of Dario's personality that no one will ever experience. Pleasure seeking behaviors are not uncommon to him, and he could fall easily to lust or addiction if given the chance.
Dario can be concerned about appearances - about how he looks and about what others think. He rarely does anything that will make him look bad, and if he does he makes sure no one important knows about it. He can't stand unclean places. He prefers to be surrounded by visually pleasing, well organized, and clean things. Dario appreciates art and well crafted items. Carpentry is very dear to him and he takes great pride in his creations.

Disfigurement (Major Fear): Disfigurement of the face would be the worst possible thing that could happen to Dario.
Blood and Bodily Fluids(Minor Fear): Blood just plain grosses him out. Small amounts don't bother him, but large amounts can make him feel sick. He doesn't like the taste of blood and cooks all of his meet.
Physical Confrontation (Minor Fear): Though its a minor fear, Dario doesn't like fighting. Getting hurt would be just as bad as hurting someone else. Self-centered or not, Dario is a peaceable guy and would not like to be responsible for hurting anyone.

Dario was brought up by devoutly religious parents. All throughout his puppyhood he was taught about the catholic religion. He respects the faith and feels as if there is a higher power in control of his life, but he isn't sure if that power is the catholic god. He will follow his religion when it suits him, but wont go out of his way. He wears a golden rosary as a reminder of his faith and his parents.

Languages (Master): Dario grew up in a post city where visitors that spoke different languages was common. He discovered he could pick up new languages quickly when he was very young. When he moved to Lisbon his knack for languages helped him find a position as a translator on a trade ship. He speaks fluent Italian, Portuguese, and French. He can speak English well, but not perfectly. He knows enough Hindu, Arabic, and Swahili to carryout a simple conversation.
Carpentry (Master): One of the most useful things Dario learned to do on his travels was carpentry. When he wasn't translating, he was taught to repair and construct wooded items by sailors. He takes great pride in his work.
Lupus Hunting (Journeyman): As a Sighthound, Dario has inherited an instinctual urge to chase and hunt small animals that move quickly. Dario's body is able to reach speeds impossible for bulker wolves which makes hunting small and medium sized game relatively easy for him. Although he if very fast and agile, he does not have much stamina. He gets tried very quickly and needs time to recover from his sprints.
Reading and Writing Spanish (Dabbler):Dario suffers from Dyslexia and has trouble reading. He can read only with great difficulty.

Timeline
2011
January:Dario's mother and father, a nun and a seminary, get married.
26 of September: Dario and his ten siblings are born in the small trading city of Cádiz, Spain.
2012
March: Dario shifts and began to spend time around the port. He discovers a knack for learning new languages while trying to communicate with forging traders. He learns to speak Italian, Portages, and French.
September: When Dario turns one year old he travels to Lisbon, Portugal on a trade ship. He works as a translator.
November: Dario leaves the traders he came to Portugal with and boards a ship that would tour the Mediterranean. He learns English and some Hindu, Arabic, and Swahili while on this trip.
2013
September: Dario turns two years old.
November: The ship Dario travels in returns to Lisbon before sailing to Barbados.
2014
February: The trade ship Dario works on reaches Barbados. The crew changes ships and sails up to Freetown.
June: A fire starts in Dario's ship. He and a few other crew members manage to escape the fire and swim to shore. The group travels by foot to Freetown.
July: Once in Freetown, Dario and his companions split up. Dario decides to head in the direction of 'Souls, hopping he could find a place to stay until he could get back home.
