About

Chester B. Valentine is the son of Calla Valentine and Till Van Ulrich-Lykoi, who was born after a deal struck to provide surrogate services for Calla and her mate, Helena Troy Lykoi. It was shortly after this that his father was added to the two woman's lives by becoming not only their surrogate but also a mate. Chester grows up as the favorite son and is doted on by his biological mother more so than his brother, which is, unbeknownst to him, his half-sibling. He is ignorant as to why his mother dotes on him so much and lives his life being tortured by his smaller and more angry brother, Julius.

Later in life, Chester begins to see how abhorrent his brother behavior has become, but also does not wholly blame Julius for it. He understands that Julius needs love and friendship even though Chester is brutally beaten for most of his youth by his darker sibling. Chester still cares for Julius because he wants to show him that blood is important and you can't just throw that away. Chester, by all means, does not say that Julius is his favorite sibling, and often will find ways to avoid him, but when Julius needs help he is more than happy to help out.

He has a vast amount of half-siblings that are raised under the same roof of his, those being Coaxoch, Dirge, & Priya, all which are his older siblings; then Stelmaria, Mekhl, Oiseau, Baie, & Spartacus are all his younger siblings. Chester played a major role in some of his siblings' lives as both big and young brother to them, and he often can be found playing baby sitter, or hunting buddy with any of the slew of his half-siblings, in which he has a good relationship with some of them.

Chester is probably the most well adjusted of the his family and tends to just go with the flow, for the most part. He is, however, a protector of his family and takes his training a bit too seriously, to the point where he has overworked himself and blacked out before. He trains mostly with a sword, but also very comfortable with mounted combat and hand to hand combat.

In the wake of the separation of his parents, he fled to Salsola's Outpost to avoid having to deal with the aftermath of the dissolution with majority of his siblings, his mothers, and father. He currently lives there with his mother, acting as a guard for the camp as well as accompanying his mother on trips in which she might need a bodyguard.

As part of Salsolan Tradition, Chester goes under the pseudonym "Yato Akihiro" when outside of Salsola, and will likely not answer to anything else unless he is on Salsolan land
