Charlotte Haskel

Charlotte Haskel is the daughter of Ayita Catori and Vigilante Haskel. She was born into privilege as the daughter of the King in Cour des Miracles on September 12, 2011, alongside Skoll Haskel and Hati Catori. Following her father's death in October 2012, she was crowned the Queen of Cour des Miracles. She led alongside Silvano Sadira for more than a year, until a riding accident at the beach in July 2014 resulted in her being lost at sea.[1] Her current status is unknown, but her family has presumed her dead.

1.  Appearance

Charlotte is built from her wolfdog heritage; she is thin and muscular, with long legs and narrow, short features. Her fur is thick, a mottled mixture of chocolate and deep mahogany. Darker brown decorates her muzzle, ending in a splash of cream where it reaches her nose, spotted in a classic butterfly nose pattern. The color of her sides fades to a slender line of cream down her belly. Her two front paws and half of the toes on her hind right paw are cream. Her tail arches tightly over her back in a curl that is classic to her Alaskan Malamute heritage. Both her tail and ears are dipped in the same dark chocolate color as her muzzle. Her eyes are a vivid seagreen, a blend of both of her parents'. Her optime hair is left long and is generally straight, sometimes with small braids in the front or across her forehead.

Charlotte is a clear hybrid, though her dog heritage is most obvious. Her father was a large dog and her mother a large wolf, but Charlotte seems to have grown to be smaller than both of them, as well as her brothers. Her tail is the most notable dog trait she carries, while her small, heavily furred ears are perhaps her most wolfish trait.

4.1  Key Relations

  • Skoll Haskel: Charlotte's oldest littermate and the golden boy growing up, there was some rivalry between them as pups and later, especially after Charlotte became Queen. However, circumstances have brought them closer and a dark secret ties Lotte to her brother more than blood. She loves him fiercely and is frightened dearly of anything happening to him.
  • Hati Catori: Charlotte's other littermate, the two were never close and this has always bothered Charlotte. Her interactions with her darker brother have been few and nothing of note, and Lotte fears that he loathes her secretly.
  • Liam Catori: Older brother from a previous litter, Charlotte is very close to him. The pair were always friendly and cared for each other but in the wake of their father's death, they bonded much more than they had previously.
  • Valencia Catori: Despite her fearand dislike of pups, Charlotte has a fondness for her niece and is willing to spend time with her, whereas she normally would not for a pup.
