Early Childhood: Pre-'Souls
Long before his arrival into the world of Nova-Scotia, Caillen's ancestors were born to a small collie-based clan of Optime-shifters that dwelled in the region previously known as Great Britain. The facts surrounding his clan history are shady, but details such as their ability to manipulate fire as the humans had and, in some cases, read the much-prized manuscripts left behind after the death of the human race had remained intact far along the generation lines. Having gleaned knowledge of their humanoid predecessors, the Great Britain clan developed a language linguistically close to that of Gaelic dialect, and were known to speak it (and an adaption thereof) in both of their available forms.
When Alaine, Caillen's mother, reached the precious age of 10 month within the Great Britain pack, a new face appeared among the pack. His name was Banja Romano, and he was to spread great evil throughout the lives of her and her subsequent child. As it were, the large Helsi wolf was able to lure the young collie-maiden from her family, upon which he revealed a cruel nature. Banja sired the bastard child Caillen, through no will of Alaine. When the realization came to the girl that she was pregnant with the spawn of this devil, she managed to flee from his grasp and head into the heart of Nova-Scotia.
Caillen's birth was a long and arduous process, his immense size providing many complications, the harshest of which was to leave Alaine supposedly thereafter barren.
AND NOW HE DED. HE DED, GUYS. CAILLEN DED.
Having grown into an awkward adolescence, Caillen became increasingly aware of the opposite gender, and his position in life. He was foolish and gullible to a fault, easily mislead by those who have a mind to do so, and incredibly naive when it comes to the wrong-doings of Nova-Scotia. Because his mother was incredibly overprotective of him from birth, Caillen had little fighting prowess except for when in a blind rage. The only way he managed to stay alive for as long as he did, travelling alone, was probably due to his larger-than-average size (a trait inherited from his father, Banja).
A poet and dreamer at heart, this young man was simply a clueless child trapped in an increasingly adult body. Now, he ded.

Caillen was remarkably large in frame, more so than the average wolf due to a genetic mutation inherited from his father. His immense size often provided him with an intimidating veneer from afar, however on close inspection it was relatively easy to see from his trademark grin that this boy was nothing more than a gentle giant.
