Baratheon Winters

Baratheon Winters is the son of Alaine Winters and Gabriel de le Poer. He is a mostly-dog hybrid, born in Airgid Gleann.

Appearance

Baratheon is mostly-dog, long legged and lean like his mother. He has inherited his father's size, however, and while he is certainly less rough around the edges, one would not mistake him for a true dog. There's enough bulk to his build to make certain of this, though he carries it less heavily than his brother.

Extremely aware of his appearance, Baratheon takes time to groom himself and it shows. He's incredibly handsome and put-together, and his pelt reflects this. Though this doesn't mean he won't get filthy, he simply prefers to have his appearance be on-point.

When in Optime form, Baratheon keeps his hair trimmed at the shoulders. It is curly like his mother's, if only slightly looser. Though his hair gives him a slightly roguish appearance, it only adds to his charm.

A handsome and charismatic man, winning friends easily, but also strikes some people as frivolous.

Relationships

Key Relations Fechín de le Poer, his "cousin", was Baratheon's traveling companion for well over a year. They are best friends and both share similar personalities, including a healthy love for tournaments, revelry, and misadventures. Though they currently live far from one another, they send messages back-and-forth regularly.

History

Baratheon is the eldest child of the first “legitimate” litter between his parents, followed by his brother Stannis de le Poer and his sister Mairsile de le Poer?. He was raised in Northern Ireland in the company of the Macha Tribe. It has been impressed upon him since childhood that he will take leadership from his father when he is of proper age, and this has greatly influenced his personality.

Stannis was sent away on his "coming of age" expedition not long after that. He, however, did not go alone--sent first to Montpellier, his "cousin" Fechín de le Poer joined him. They traveled throughout most of the Mediterranean before both traveled to Dublin and onto their great-uncle's family farm. Fechín elected to remain there while Baratheon traveled home, eager to settle back into his position with a little more world experience.
