Axelle Napier is the daughter of Tyko Amini and Anette Napier, born in Ontario, Canada. She left Ontario after her mother mysteriously died and her father's sanity almost went off the deep end. Sad, lonely, and reluctant that she couldn't take her brother Nero with her, Axelle set off traveling. Eventually, she found Nova Scotia, but quickly learned the hard way to be tough and untrusting. Within the first few months of arriving there, she was raped by Kemo Nishant and later attacked by Harlowe D'Angelo. These incidents taught Axelle to be timid and afraid, and during that time, she met Itzal.

Eventually, after getting into loads of trouble (see timeline), Axelle met Naniko D'Angelo and joined Anathema in 2010, where she remained for several years. She had witnessed three generations of leadership changes, defended Anathema from multiple threats (Casa di Cavalieri, New Dawn, her father, etc.) and eventually became the Atheed (or second-in-command) herself.

Axelle took Itzal as an official mate in 2013, and together they became the parents of two daughters: Lithia Napier and Tzila Napier.

In September 2015, Itzal mysteriously disappeared without a trace (see plot), which left her family distraught. The trauma from the experience caused Axelle to develop nightmares, delusions, and become obsessed with finding him. Axelle further deteriorated in her position and in November 2015, she left Anathema, chasing a hallucination of her mate into the woods. She never returned.

A few years later, she settled down in an abandoned community in Colchester Quarter. She claimed a house by the beach and made it her own for a good couple of years. Unfortunately, trouble still followed her there as well. After a violent sexual encounter with a pygmy coyote, Axelle gave birth to an unwanted litter and promptly dumped them in the woods. Much to her dismay, one was rescued and survived against all odds: Eire Lykoi. Despite being tracked down, Axelle had nothing to offer her, and after an argument, Eire stole Axelle's horse, Couer, and never returned.

In Feb 2020, Lithia went to visit her and found evidence of a struggle along with Axelle's mutilated corpse (M).

1.  Appearance

1.1  Basics


  • Species: Despite being half desert-wolf and half snow-wolf, Axelle does not show any distinguishable features between the two.
  • Fur: Despite her Iranian Wolf heritage, Axelle's coat takes after her Gray/Timber Wolf genes and is fluffy and thick.
    • Optime Hair: A long, wavy mix of white and black strands, with pink highlights throughout.
  • Facial Features:
  • Build and Size: Small, yet lean. She has slightly visible muscles in her arms, legs, and abdomen.
    • Lupus: Axelle is small-sized and fluffy in this form.
    • Optime: Standing at a solid 5'8", Axelle is lean and muscular with usually unkempt hair. Her fur in this form is a lot less fluffy than her other forms.
  • Humanization: Axelle wears clothes, jewelry and stands in an upright position. She doesn't worry herself with reading or writing or any other human skills that do not play a part in her survival. While she has adopted their clothing, accessorizing and weapons, Axelle is not very humanized passed that point.

In this form, Axelle is thin and muscular and her fur is less fluffy. Her fur is usually kept neat and her hair is kept long and unstyled, with pink highlights throughout. Sometimes Axelle will wind her hair up into a messy braid.


2.  Personality

  • Impetuous. Axelle often reacts without thinking about the consequences, especially if it involves one of her family or someone very close to her. A good example of this is when she attacked Kenna Foxleigh for attacking Itzal at Cercatori d'Arte's borders, resulting in further souring Anathema's and Cercatori d'Arte's relationships. She is often triggered by anger, but can be triggered by sadness too! :(
  • Competitive. She loves being challenged, especially by males. She likes to outsmart or outwork them by coming out on top and showing that she is better. While she is not a sore loser, Axelle always prefers to win.
  • Wary. Axelle is often skeptical of her surroundings, especially if something doesn't seem right to her. She always needs a good reason to trust something that seems questionable to her. If not a good reason, then something validate whatever "it" is.
  • Good-natured. Axelle is usually willing to help someone else, given that they are at least kind to her. She will not go that much out of her way for them, but she would definitely offer her assistance to them.
  • Amorous. She often uses flirting to get what she wants, whether its information, a good trade or just the attention she craves. Since becoming Itzal's mate, she has calmed down by much with flirting outside of her mateship.

  • Itzal's Death: Itzal is her rock and her sanity, despite his own questionable sanity. Without Itzal around, Axelle is literally missing her other half.


  • Anathema: Because it is led by an incompetent child, Anathema can no longer be respected as the "outlaws refugee" it once was.


Axelle is lustful, which often drives her to flirt with many. Her confidence rarely falters, which also makes her less likely to be nervous or hesitant. Since shacking up with her mate, Itzal, however, Axelle has been less flirty outside of her mateship. She does, however, still use it as a tool to get what she wants.

Axelle doesn't follow any religion. She just floats through space, living life the way she sees fit.

Key Relations

  • Itzal is her mate and a long time friend who resurfaced from her past a couple of years ago. These two are inseparable no matter what. He has a second personality called Eztli, who has a unique and dangerous relationship with Axelle.
  • Kentaro Lykoi is a touchy subject. Her relationship with Kentaro is rocky only because she refuses to submit entirely to him. She is uncomfortable with submitting to him because he is so much younger and more ignorant than her, and because she doesn't always agree with him. While she does outwardly show respect for him most of the time, she does not care for him.

Positive Relations

  • Azalea de la Cyra was Axelle's captive, whom she later set free upon being impressed by the woman's spirit. She and Axelle share an amiable, competitive friendship and often train together. They share a mutual dislike for Kentaro and know they can count on each other to gossip or to complain about him.
  • Nero Napier is Axelle's littermate, whom she was recently reunited with. While there is a lot of untouched history between these two, Axelle trusts her brother unconditionally and would do anything to help him.
  • Bridget Rhiannon is one of Axelle's good friends within Anathema. Bridget had come to Axelle's aid numerous times, and the women often share knowledge and gossip amongst each other. Axelle and Bridget have also had an intimate moment between each other once.
  • Vepar Creo is a long-time member and a long-time "friend". Axelle often spars with Vepar, practicing their hand-to-hand techniques on each other.
  • Skana Creo has recently grown on Axelle. This is especially true after Skana saved her from a mental breakdown in the swamps. Axelle thinks Skana as gentle, respectful, thoughtful and kind, but also notices that she has authority in some ways too.


  • Salvia Eternity just rubbed her the wrong way. Axelle met her once when she had brought Salsola gifts, and found the woman to be greedy and over-bearing.
  • Scorpius D'Angelo is not a very close friend, but because Axelle remembers his puppyhood in Naniko's days in Anathema, she holds a positive-neutral opinion of him. Scorpius has done nothing to sway her opinion of his yet.


  • Malakai was one of Axelle's former-potential-mates before things went sour. After their relationship ended, Malakai made it his new goal to permanently rid Anathema of Axelle. He believed she was a threat to his happiness (which she was), and the only way to get rid of her for good was to kill her. He lured her father into Anathema and showed him which house was hers in attempt to indirectly dispose of her - but the plan backfired. Malakai's involvement, however, was never discovered.
  • Kenna Foxleigh attacked Itzal and gravely wounded him, earning her a place on Axelle's blacklist.
  • Elissa Dale was Malakai's new mate after everything fell through with him and Axelle. Axelle used Elissa as a way of getting back at Malakai indirectly, and poisoned her out of spite. She was never openly found out, but Elissa had her suspicions.

Weaponry & Fighting Styles

  • Swordsmanship (Journeyman): Axelle is pretty good with a sword. She was initially trained with a Katana, but is better with bigger daggers and smaller swords.
  • Archery
    • Crossbow (Master): She is VERY good with something that she can just point and shoot. She rarely misses her target while using a crossbow.
    • Longbow (Journeyman): Recently, Axelle acquired a beautiful bow from Lokr Revlis through a trade for some books. Because a manual bow is different from the ease of a crossbow, it is taking Axelle a little longer to master this skill.
  • Hand-to-Hand (Master): Axelle often uses this fighting style when fighting with a dagger, but not always. She sometimes incorporates this style when using her short swords in attempt to distract her opponent.
  • Reading (Dabbler): She does not enjoy reading, nor is very good at it. She gained the skill through her travels, but never practiced it and as a result, as time progressed, Axelle barely knows how to read anymore.
  • Tracking (Journeyman): She is very good at hunting someone down. She isn't a pro, but she can find her target fairly quickly if left the right kind of trail.
  • Sensitive: Axelle can often sense a ghost when its near.
    • Supernatural Dreams: Axelle believes that her dreams hold some kind of supernatural power when she has significant ones. She's had a few dreams of her mother relaying a message to her, which came true soon after. As of 2015, Axelle has not had supernatural dreams for a while and has forgotten her gift.
  • Low Speech (Proficient): Only uses Low Speech to communicate with birds and her horse.


  • Due to her hot-headed and impulsiveness, Axelle tends to get herself in deep trouble more often than once. Because she doesn't think about the consequences of her actions, she gets herself into all kind of bad situations; most of these situations end with injury.

Axelle was the Spotlight Soul in December 2012.


She was born in a pack in Ontario, Canada where she lived with her family. Axelle cared for herself mostly because her mother wasn’t in the picture for too long, and her father, Tyko, had problems. He was a very uninvolved father and didn’t care about her and her brother, Nero, too much. Axelle’s mother, Anette, became ill a year after she had given birth to her and her brother. It was sudden, and the illness progressed quickly as the months went by and soon she died. After her mother’s death, Axelle turned 2 and she grew tired of her life going nowhere. She was deeply saddened by the loss of her mom, and her father’s absence wasn't helping to soothe her pain. Axelle stuck around her pack for a month or so longer before leaving. She offered for her brother, Nero, to come with her, but he refused. He wanted to stay where he was. Nero wasn't big on traveling. She left happy, and traveled the rest of Canada. While on her travels, she had met a friend she’d known from her pack; he seemingly left too. This friend told her that her brother was killed. The brother that she loved so much, died. She wanted him to go with her, but he refused. He wanted to stay and help with what he could, a good reason, but it apparently wasn’t too safe for him. Her friend wouldn’t tell her how or why and when she prodded at him for the information he made an excuse that he had to continue his journey, and left her without answers. She never saw him again or ever heard of what happened to her pack after that. She continued her travels with little information about what had happened.

Soon, she came across lands with scents of others, somewhere where she believed was Nova Scotia, Canada. She didn’t care to be in a pack, right away, and wanted to stay alone since it was a way she followed for a long time. So she took to the lands of Souls but never attached herself to any particular piece of land.

Present-Day Souls

She stayed a loner for quite some time, about 6 months. She had a rough time being a loner, but she loved to travel. She didn’t want to give that up for being in a pack. During her time as a loner, she ran into a lot of trouble. She was raped by Kemo Nishant and brutally beaten by Harlowe D’Angelo. That didn’t stop her from being a loner though; it only taught her to be more cautious and afraid around strange males.

During those times, she had stumbled off to get away from Harlowe and wound up being near the Anatheman border. She laid there comfortably until Naniko D’Angelo found her and healed her. They became good friends and Axelle visited her often. Axelle had known that Naniko was the leader of Anathema, and wondered what pack life was like. So, one night she went looking for Naniko, and found her by the luck she always had, to ask her some questions. She liked what she heard and was initiated into the pack. She wears the scar on her right palm proudly because finally she has a home. ‘^X^'

Axelle has been in Anathema ever since and has been leveling up in the Warrior tier as well as her co-rank (Sharpshooter), because of her great aim with ranged weapons. She has found a mate, a long time friend that goes by the name of Itzal, and they are going strong. They have since moved into a house in Thackery Village together.

5.2  Timeline


  • During this time was when Axelle first came to Nova Scotia. She had been traveling on her own for a long time before that and didn't keep in contact with many other wolves. So, when she was faced with others - she managed to get herself in as much trouble as possible. During the end of this year, she managed to get high a bunch of times, raped and impregnated by Kemo Nishant, beaten by Harlowe D'Angelo, and have a bunch of sex with Ouija D'Angelo. She met one or two wolves that didn't cause her any trouble - and began her relationship with Naniko D'Angelo.


  • 2011 started off rough, but eventually turned into a better year for her. In January, she wound up getting Kemo Nishant back by burning his offspring alive right in front of him. After that, she felt strong, though she still held a strong fear for men for a long time after that. She meets Itzal and later on at the end of March, she joins Anathema. After joining a pack, her life begins to get a little better.


  • Axelle begins training for her Warrior rank in the previous year, and really starts to level up during this year. She is still doing drugs and sleeping around, but at least she isn't getting raped, beaten, and impregnated this time around. She has a few consensual flings here and there - and meets her first mate during this time, Malakai.
    • April: Her and Malakai's relationship starts out rocky and they hate each other - but Axe just can't keep her hands off of a 'bad boy', and then eventually wind up mating and getting closer to each other, putting the 'hate' behind them. In early July, Alder helps Axelle catch a horse trapped in an enclosure; and around the same time, her and Malakai are attacked by a wolf in Halifax?. She gets some nasty injuries from that, and Malakai asks for Rio Marino's help with healing her - which develops Rio's dislike for Axelle.
    • August: Axelle gets wind that her father, Tyko Amini is in town - and Malakai confirms it when he kidnaps his slave and brings her to Anathema. Axelle interrogates the girl while providing basic first aid to her many wounds caused by Malakai, and takes it upon herself to return her personally. She does not allow Malakai to come with her - and winds up getting brutally beaten and raped by her own father. During this time, she had been a couple of months pregnant with Malakai's puppies, and loses them during the fight. She bleeds them out while stumbling home. After this, Malakai is particularly needy and pushy - in which she doesn't like. She tried to distance herself from him for a while, and finds Itzal in Halifax (after attacking him and provoking his second personality, and then fighting for her life after that). She sees Itzal as a second chance and exercises the idea of leaving Malakai because she loves Itzal. During the big hurricane in 'Souls, Axelle spends most of it in a cave in Halcyon Mountain with Itzal - just talking and catching up. She confesses her love to him, but also tells him that Malakai is her mate.
    • October Axelle leaves Malakai, and thereafter, he savagely attacks her. He leaves her with many hefty wounds. She runs back to Anathema, to get away from his crazy ass, and collapses right before she gets to the main entrance, weak from blood loss. Itzal finds and her she tells him what happened - and then he goes to 'finish' the job himself. He finds Malakai and brutally beats him - with the intent to kill him, but they are found by Aeron Ganesa and broken up. Itzal did not get to kill Malakai like he had hoped.
      Earlier in October, Axelle accompanies Mido for her task to advance to Eligos in the warrior ranks. They go to Halifax for weapons, but are ambushed by a group of barbaric wolves who try to rob and kill them for their findings. Axelle and Mido wind up kicking ass and Axelle takes some prisoners home with her - Azalea de la Cyra and a wolf she named 'Fatty' because of his plump, robustness.

      Axelle utilizes the rest of 2012 for trying to track down Tyko, and also to rid Malakai completely from her life.


  • Early on in the year, Axelle is preoccupied with making a name for herself in Anathema, while also still trying to "take care of" the situation with her father. Tyko is still a very serious problem to Axelle and to Anathema because he frequently breaches the borders, attacks members, and stalks Axelle often.
  • February - April: Axelle is annoyed that Malakai's new girlfriend has joined Anathema. Impulsively, she poisons some wine with Rhubarb, which causes Elissa Dale to become very sick. It is then that Axelle decides that she will take out her anger on Elissa to get back at Malakai, so she begins trying to seduce Malakai again. Her plan seems to be working, only she is not aware that Malakai is only playing along, hoping to see her demise as well. Because Axelle hadn't taken the proper precautions when poisoning Elissa, she finds out and threatens Axelle.
  • May: Unbeknownst to Axelle, Malakai is working with her father, Tyko, behind everyone's backs. At the end of May, Malakai sneaks Tyko into Anathema and Thackary Village with the intent to see Axelle killed by the next morning. Instead, it is Tyko who is killed during the knight by Axelle and Itzal after a gruesome fight. Ironically, a few days later, Axelle is reunited with her brother, Nero Napier.
  • Later on in the year, Axelle breaks off the game with Malakai, meets a few new Luperci, such as Lola, Cahan Leath-Rana, and Bridget Rhiannon; and initiates the fence-building project for Anathema.


  • Earlier in the year, Aeron Ganesa is overthrown by her son, Kentaro Lykoi, and Axelle is uncomfortable with this - but sticks by his side to remain the Atheed. There are some ripples within the pack, including the formation of a coup led by Catrin Ganesa, against Kentaro. The coup is broken up after they cause a little trouble, but those against Kentaro are relieved to find that he was at least poisoned. Catrin is beheaded.
    • March: Axelle is punished for challenging Kentaro, and receives a long cut at the side of her torso. She hates Kentaro even more.
    • November: Anathema moves south to claim land around the Blackmoor Castle. Axelle is uncomfortable with this, as she is leaving the lands she knew behind.
