Anzhelika was born Anzhelika Demidova early March 2015 in the far reaches of northern Quebec, where resources were thin and breeding heavily restricted. Growing up, she and her older brother, Pyotr, aside from being taught basic survival skills such as hunting and navigation, were largely left to their own devices.

Upon reaching sexual maturity, the two became long-range scouts and ventured out for days and weeks at a time to track herd movements and bring back what they could.

While out on one of these missions, Anzhelika was ambushed and assaulted by a passing loner. The perpetrator was swiftly captured and brought to justice, but Anzhelika was cast from the pack as soon as she began to show signs of pregnancy. She went into labor later in autumn, delivering a litter of three boys, of which only the third-born, Spiridon, survived.

Essentials


In comparison to most wolves, Anzhelika is on the smaller side of the spectrum, distinguished by the sleek, wiry torso, deep chest, and long limbs of a hunter. Her paws are large though not disproportionately so, the surface area making them ideal for striding across rough, snowy terrain.

Anzhelika is predominantly white with silver agouti and some subtle tan highlights that are only visible during the summer months. She has a plush undercoat and thick overcoat which she sheds seasonally. Her eyes are a soft, pale blue.

While striking, she is not beautiful in the conventional sense. She has a strong face, a bit too harsh at certain angles, and broad but somewhat refined muzzle.

2.  Personality

Anzhelika is a cold, stern, and cynical woman. Hardened by tragedy, she pays very little to attention to the lives of those outside her immediate circle and is only compassionate when she stands to benefit in some way. She is very fair-minded in the sense that she believes that all individuals are equally capable of cruelty. Her sense of "right" and "wrong" is dictated by whether or not her actions and the actions of others work in favor of the survival of her and her loved ones.

After having lost two of her children, Anzhelika is extremely protective of — and has a notable soft spot for — her son Spiridon. She has only his best interests in mind but sometimes struggles to show him the emotional support and affection she feels he deserves. She holds him to a high standard and hopes that his independent nature will compensate for her shortcomings as a mother.
