Personality

Anisat is the culmination of a wistful heart and a bohemian inspiration. Her family always hoped for a daughter who would eventually join the Family business, but of course fate intervened and somehow Anisat emerged independent and eager to prove herself. The young woman can be unintentionally terse and can sometimes struggle with understanding high-brow humor. This frustrates her, as all she wishes is to be understood or ‘in on the game’ – something that her brothers took great joy in holding over her head. Despite seeking out others, she is deeply afraid of commitment and can prove a flighty creature when things look too serious.

She comes from a large family and has learnt how to deal with different personality types because of this. She is more like her Mother than she would like to admit and enjoys tasks that fill her with nostalgia, such as cooking and weaving. Her strongest skills involve her staff and jewelry making – both passed on to her from her family. Anisat can have a sharp tongue, but enjoys companionship in all forms, whether it be romantic or platonic. When caught off guard she laughs deeply and loudly!

People from the plains give their hearts freely, but can prove difficult to pin down.

Appearance

Anisat inherited most of her looks from her Father, Aleph. She appears to be mostly coyote, what with her long slim muzzle and large ears. Subtle signs of her dog-blood lie in the feathering at her elbows and the way her fur catches at her tail. Each ear is lined with studs of gold that she has made herself.

Her fur is a sandy agouti with a slightly darker saddle, and her eyes are a sharp shade of violet. Anisat sometimes decorates herself with paints and dyes that shade the paler sections of her fur, but this is reserved for when luck is needed. The swirl, when painted on her shoulder is something that has been in her family for generations and means fast. Her hair is long and chocolate colored, usually twined into a mixture of braids to keep it up and out of her face.

Anisat has no scars and has never really seen battle beyond scrapping with her siblings. She has an exotic aire about her, and when she speaks her voice is light and airy.

On special occasions she will wear jewelry that is traditional to her family – a gold chain that drapes over her head and muzzle and dangles to her collar bone. Anisat is smaller than her siblings, but this makes her fast on her feet and able to ride most horses with little issue.

Anisat grew up in a wide open grassland (likely somewhere in Mid-West America) that her family often travelled through.

Her family specializes in a myriad of trades in an effort to pull in whatever coin they can - namely horse flesh, jewelry, and women. Her Father, Aleph proved industrious and soon after leaving his home began a life with his first wife, Visha. In an effort to grow they introduced a second wife... and eventually, this became five wives. Their territory is known as a popular place for thieves and vagrants, so having more hands made it easier to work their animals and increase their connections. Many of Anisat's sisters are married to neighbouring families in an effort to increase safe areas for grazing and travel.

Anisat was born in spring of 2019 to parents Aleph and her birth-mother Lasrel, an attempt to bring more sons into the world. Instead, Anisat was born to a litter of daughters - all of which grew up surrounded by a large family with expectations to bring wealth and honor to Alephs name. Her brothers are eager to find wives of their own, and have each amassed a sizable piece of land for themselves to homestead on and raise children.

In late 2021, Aleph arranged for Anisat to marry a boy from a nearby Tribe in exchange for breeding rights to their horses. After finally realizing that there is more to life than her Family and their great expectations, Anisat stole a horse and disappeared a few days before the ceremony was to take place.
