Andras Novosad (And-ruhs NO-voh-sahd) is Southern loner and adopted sister of Svasra. After leaving home in search of her, and eventually finding her heavily pregnant Saut Asylum, she waits until Svas has given birth and then leads her back to Kentucky, to be reunited with her parents and uncle.

1.1  Basics

Essentials

  • Species: Andras looks primarily dog, with few wolf features.
  • Fur: Long and smooth – thin coat. She doesn't do very well in cold weather. She keeps it neat and silky, and she has light feathering on the back of her legs.
    • Optime Hair: Never touched or styled – extends from her head down the nape of her neck in an almost feather-like way. Raven-black like her fur.
  • Facial Features: Majorly German Shepherd – slight wolfish-shaped eyes.
  • Build and Size: Very tall and erect – she doesn't have very much bulk at all. She is very lean and compact muscle-wise, with long limbs and a very long torso. Remains slightly curvy but mostly athletic-looking.
    • Lupus: Slightly smaller than the average wolf, built longer and slimmer than most canines. Looks weirdly feminine in this form.
    • Optime: Tall and slender, but not to the extent of gangliness. Very erect and alert – almost like a deer.

Andras looks almost completely German Shepherd, and has very little bulk in this form. She remains very slender and tall, and moves with a trotting, dog-like gait, as well. She has large paws, and that's about all that shows of her wolf heritage. Enters this form only when she's on the move, or to sleep.

Becomes noticeably larger, with longer limbs. Gains a bit of bulk in her shoulders and haunches, but still seems slender and lean.

Optime (Preferred)

Andras' preferred form, Optime is seen as the most practical and aesthetically appealing. She is very vertical in appearance, having slender, long limbs that bear hard, compact muscles. While not as curvacious as some, she still remains feminine in appearance and at times can seem delicate, even. She prefers not to wear clothing and keeps her hair mostly unstyled.

Interaction

  • Speech: Andras speaks with a noticeable southern accent, but not so deep that it's not understandable. She has a deeper voice and uses lower, smoother inflections rather than allowing her voice to get up high. Her grammar is semi-correct, and she tends to use southern lingo such as “y'all,” and “dunn't” as opposed to “doesn't.” Her voice would most resemble Lauren Cohan as “Maggie” on the Walking Dead. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gC5EBINzHfI) Warning – ridiculously bad video/sound quality, but it was the best I could find.
  • Scent: She smells mostly of earthy, woodsy scents. Often campfire, prey-smell, and sometimes chews peppermint leaves if she can find them, so she smells of that sometimes, too.
  • General Posture and Body Language: Her back is constantly straight as a board, and she stands with her shoulders back and her head high. When in a relaxed pose her arms generally tend to remain by her side, rather than crossed over her front – so they usually go to her hips or lower back by default. Tail doesn't lift often, and usually hangs without movement.
  • Quirks, Gestures, Etc.:
    • Her ears are very expressive and flexible – she tends to turn them towards the speaker rather than turn her head.
    • Doesn't remember names very well, so she's gotten into the habit of calling others, “lovely.” Calls people “ma'am” and “sir.”

5.  History

Child of two dog-dominant hybrids in Kentucky. They both passed away of an illness when she was a mere few weeks old, and was then adopted by Svasra's parents. Soon after Svasra's uncle also joined the settlement, and she was raised hearing stories of her adopted sister. When she was older she ventured north in search of her, and when she found her, she led her home. Feel free to elaborate, but leave the basics there, please!
