Adrian Raven-Shadowryn

Adrian Raven-Shadowryn is a former member of Midnight Shores and Anathema.

She is the daughter of Alimro and Valdis Raven-Shadowryn. She is the half-sister of Avinalora Phoenix.

Her mother fled once she was born and her father started drowning his sorrows in alcohol. At the age of six months, she was sold by Valdis to some people for more alcohol. The people who she was traded to were actually recruiters for a group know as Et Sicarios, an all female group of assassins. She was later taken from New York to London and was trained to be a Sicaria. Once she had completed her training, she decided to leave Et Sicarios and later journeyed to Nova Scotia. On her way there she befriended a male named Cobalt who later became her companion.

She roamed around 'Souls for a bit and was reunited with her half-sister, Avinalora. On August 31st, she joined Midnight Shores and was ranked as Pollux. In this time, she grew close to her sister. Her former companion left her to do some soul-searching, so she moved in with her sister and helped raise the fox kits.

When Midnight Shores disbanded, she took care of her sister, whom grew depressed after the disbandment. The sisters and all of their animals moved to Anathema. She was ranked as Dasa until the disbandment. She went to Halifax, leaving her sister and children in order to start up a trade. In June, her niece and nephew came into her care, brought by her sister's friend, Kitiara Birch. The small clan stayed in Halifax before journeying to Portland. There, they gained passage to Europe.

Adrian takes after her mother's jackal heritage with her narrow muzzle, long legs, and lithe appearance. Her large ears are a mixture of her coyote and jackal blood. Her fur is longer, thick enough to withstand cold temperatures, thanks to her wolf heritage. Her tail is larger for her body which could be attributed to her wolf blood. Her hair is normally worn in a braid. She is slender but has lean muscle. She is quite small but fast.

  • Knives (Master): Knives are Adrian's go-to weapon. She either uses throwing knives or a pair of combat knives. She dodges blows while trying to do as much damage as she can.
  • Hand-to-Hand combat (Master): Adrian knows how to defend herself without weapons. She normally goes for vulnerable areas while dodging.
  • Feral Combat (Journeyman): Adrian normally dodges attacks while trying to do as much damage as she can. She uses her speed and agility to land blows.
  • Darts (Journeyman): Adrian has been able to make darts and uses them to weaken something. She has tipped darts with poison and often makes the edges barbed so its painful to tear out.
  • Stealth (Master): Adrian's small size makes her very stealthy. She is quite good at climbing trees and ambushing others. And hiding is easy for her.
  • Hunting (Journeyman): Adrian is capable of hunting small to medium prey. She either uses her darts or sometimes throwing knives while hunting in Optime and she can bring down rabbits in Lupus form.
  • Sewing (Master) : Sewing was taught to her as an attempt to make her more ladylike. She uses this skill to repair her garments mostly and to even make new ones. With practice, she has been able to make even more complex garments.
  • Violin (Journeyman): When she was young, Adrian was gifted a violin as a present for her first shift. She soon learned how to play it and through practice, she has improved greatly.
  • Dancing (Journeyman): She started dancing as she played the violin and soon evolved into different moves.
