Belgorod (Russian: Белгород, IPA: [ˈbʲɛlɡərət]) is a city located on the Seversky Donets River 40 kilometers (25 mi) north of the former border with Ukraine.
1. Description
Belgorod's climate is humid continental (Köppen climate classification Dfb) featuring moderate precipitation. Winters are rather cold and changeable with often warmings which are followed by rains. Also sometimes temperature falls lower than −15 °C (5 °F) which can proceed about one week and more. Summer is warm, in separate years — could be rainy or hot and droughty. Autumn is soft and rainy. The Belgorod reservoirs become covered with ice at the end of November — the beginning of December, the ice drift lasts from March to April.
2. Culture
Luperci within Belgorod tend towards the love of art. A few are painters, a few are actors. Though overall the Luperci population of Belgorod is small (~20), the ones that are present support one another. Fights can break out often (especially if anyone gets their hands on alcohol), but they are, generally speaking, not serious and heinous crimes are low in the area.
Non-Luperci make up the majority of the population, and are usually either fascinated by the Luperci culture surrounding them or irritated by it. Peculiar to some, Non-Luperci and Luperci within Belgorod commonly trade goods as their values are so different.
3. Significance
Although far, the journey to Moscow can be made, so many canines that stay at Belgorod that desire something a bit more populated head that way.
