Sonja is a kitten that resides in the the Ruins of Salsola. When her mother was killed defending her litter, she was discovered by Quicksilver Lykoi and taken into her care. Still somewhat feral and skittish, she clings to the woman as she would a mother.

  • Size:
    • Large but willowy and narrow-shouldered.
    • Well-fed.
  • Features:
    • Large, tuff-tipped ears and a short bobtail.
    • Scarring on left shoulder.
  • Coloration:
    • Brown-gray tabby with black paws and tail.
    • Pale blue eyes; owlish in appearance.

2.  Personality

Sonja is quiet and withdrawn creature with an immense distaste for most of Salsola's local non-canine residents. She has difficulty socializing with other felines, most likely due to the bullying she was subjected to by her brother Asmund, and prefers the company of Quicksilver and Freja or none at all. Sonja spends a majority of her time observing Salsolans and reports her findings to Quicksilver. However, she often butts heads with Freja when she meddles in her business or interrupts her spying. Ultimately, the sisters try to work in tandem to collect information with their respective methods. She is comfortable with a numbered few but showers them affection, becoming bolder in their company.

When someone actually elicits a conversation from her, they are quick to find out that Sonja is an intelligent, mysterious queen with more depth than her skittish appearance suggests otherwise.

  • Sonja is an extremely skilled huntress, being able to down creatures from mice to small birds of prey.
  • Due to her quiet nature and hunting abilities, Sonja is adept at spying on individuals without being noticed.
  • She is fluent in High Speech and feline Low Speech. It's suggested that she knows how to read.

  • Likes Quicksilver, fresh linen, sunny patches of light, hunting, and peace.
  • Dislikes non-canine creatures, bullies, thunderstorms, and isolation.
  • Hates when Freja annoys her.

4.  History

  • Sonja was born to a feral queen alongside a large litter of siblings in the first winter of 2017.
  • Her mother was killed by Grievous Eternity while defending the kittens; the orphans were taken in by Quicksilver Lykoi.
  • While her siblings were adopted by various other individuals, Quicksilver decided to keep the firstborn as her own.
