Djinni (NPC of [[Characters/Faizel Kartal]])

Djinni is a young caracal, the companion of Faizel Kartal.

1.  Appearance

• Size: ~33 lbs, ~19 in at shoulder
• Features: Trademark tufted ears, short tail
• Coloration: Reddish-tawny coat, green eyes

2.  Personality

Djinni is a young wildcat with a solitary and distrustful nature; few Luperci catch a glimpse of her personality, and her inability to speak English doesn't help matters. However, at her core Djinni is a self-conscious "teenager" who forms extremely strong bonds with choice individuals -- namely Faizel, who she views as a pseudo-mother figure, and Evelien, a domestic cat she is immensely protective over.

2.1  Skills & Abilities A solitary, nocturnal hunter whose characteristic caracal jump nets her flying prey rather easily. She is occasionally clumsy and has yet to fully adapt to New Brunswick's climate or prey. Djinni is fluent in Arabic thanks to being hand-raised by the Kartal family. She has some proficiency in Turkish (understanding it, with no reason to speak it) and knows only a handful of words in English.

3.  History

• Djinni was separated from her mother at a young age and allegedly traded to (possibly stolen by) Levent Kartal.
• She was hand-raised by Levent, with the help of Faizel Kartal -- who Levent gifted the wildcat to when she came of age.
• When Faizel and her family traveled to North America, Djinni accompanied her friend.
