  • Dubhthaigh — The Dubhthaigh family is very proud of its pure bloodlines, and claims to be one of the oldest family lines in the realm. They are the most powerful family in the Badb tribe, and mateships with them prove very fruitful for the poorer Murtagh family members.
  • O'Sionna — Similar to the Dubhthaigh family, the O'Sionna family line looks down upon the Murtaghs. However, members from O'Sionna and Murtagh families have been wed in the past.
  • Winters and Ahearne — Although breeding outside of the Badb tribe is rare for the Dubthaighs, they have, on occasion, had betrothals with families from other packs, such as the Nemain (Tribe).
