Stjarna Helsi (née Fylgja) is a member of Salsola, born in Hearg Njorth.

1.  Appearance

Stjarna is small, "fairy-blooded," and is colored like a platinum cross fox. She has a dark Chow Chow tongue and is missing a tail.

1.1  Coloration

  • Dune (#262321) colors her arms down to the wrists and most of her curly tail. It is the predominant color of her hair and covers both ears. A hint of the color also marks near her eyes.
  • Scarpa Flow (#59585A) colors her legs down to the ankles, covering a bit of her hips and the base of her tail. It also marks near her eyes.
  • Tobacco Brown (#705F46) covers most of her back as well as her cheeks.
  • Napa (#B1A390) acts as a border color between Tobacco Brown and Iron, and is found along her sides as well as on her face and bordering her tail-tip. Napa is also streaked through her hair.
  • Iron (#D3D5D8) covers her belly up to her chest and throat, striping her muzzle and between her eyes. It covers the tip of her tail and all four paws to the wrist/ankle.
  • Her eyes are Lynch (#6B7592).
  • Her tongue is Gun Powder (#474456).
  • Her nose and paw pads are Shark (#25262A).

1.2  Modifications and Accessories

  • Stjarna wears a cross fox tail with a harness to replace her missing tail.
  • In the winter, she wears fauna -- pelts of various animals, including badgers and skunks, her favorite.
  • In the summer, she wears flora -- wraps decorated with flowers and plants.

2.  Personality

  • Fairy-blooded: She is known as being fairy-blooded among the Hearg because she is small and mischievous, displaying characteristics of the fairy folk. It hasn't been determined just where she has acquired this line of blood.
  • Mischievous: She tends to play harmless tricks on others. She will often take things that are used often and hides them. Other times, if she knows someone is creeped out by insects she will place said insects among their personal belongings and hide in wait for them to be found.
  • Playful: She likes to have a good time and is typically always making up some game or another to entertain herself with. She enjoys dressing up the most. In the winter she will wear animal hides, with heads intact, and pretend to be that animal. In the summer she covers herself in foliage and can be found hiding among bushes.
  • Magpie: Things that are shiny and interesting attract her attention and so she must have whatever it is. She will collect just about anything. She gives no thought to taking what isn't hers, unable to leave something behind if she decides that she must have it.
  • Hoarder: Once she has something in her possession she is unable to turn it loose even if it no longer serves a function. She will keep old food even if it is rotting and maggot covered. She never tosses anything out.
  • Loki Obsessed: She has an obsession with the God Loki and believes herself to be God touched, her tongue being the mark of Loki. She believes that she relates to him and therefore tries to emulate him.
  • Stylist: She enjoys playing with hair, plaiting being what she enjoys the best of all. She also has learned to make her own soap that she uses. She ends up taking special care of her tail as she finds it to be her best feature.
  • Envious: She hates how short and weak looking she is so she is often envious of women that are giantess-blooded, those having larger builds, as being a warrior woman is something to be celebrated in the Hearg. She will even go as far as to steal a lock of a larger woman's hair to place in her own in hopes that it would make her grow bigger and stronger.
  • Impatient: She hates waiting for things. She'd rather something happen right away than having to wait for it, this goes for learning as well as things simply happening. She always grows bored easily if something doesn't hold her interest.

3.  History

Stjarna was born to a single mother and was raised with the expectation that she would follow in her mother's footsteps and become a Volva as well. That idea was quickly squashed after just a few months of age. She had been passed over with the remark that the fairy-blooded weren't fit to be Volvas. The propensity for mischief that she displayed kept her from obtaining the same prestige that her mother had acquired. Stjar couldn't say that she was too disappointed to not be chosen for the task. Rather than being forced into lessons she was able to do her own thing, something that she greatly preferred.

It wasn't until after her first shift did Stjar ever learn who her father was. The name meant little to her as he didn't live within the Hearg and so she had no face to place with it. But just because she didn't know him already didn't mean that she didn't wish to. She was a curious creature by nature and so she spent the next month learning what she could about him. She bothered everyone in the Hearg for what they knew about him and where to end up finding him. Of course the latter of this turned up very little. No one seemed to know what had happened to the wolf that had fathered her after he had left the Hearg.

Since all she turned up was one dead end after another the girl ended up packing up and leaving the Hearg as well. She was determined to find the male whom had fathered her and figure out why he had left her mother and her behind. Her travel didn't turn up much either, only vague remembrances and a general direction in which to try heading.
