Born to the midst of Naenia and Nivosus's conflict, she and her sister Nieve were primarily cared for by Sylvestre Acosta, whilst their parents were busy elsewhere.
Her whole life she'd struggled with her sight, vision blurry and unclear as if underwater, her distance of vision impaired - it wasn't until others began to comment on her lack of spacial awareness, as well as inability to see details did she realize that her capacity to see was not the norm. Distraught over the realisation, she began to foolish look for solution to repair it, resulting in her applying a concoction she'd never tested before, burning her skin from the heat of the mixture combined with an allergic reaction, leaving her fully blind in one eye and with a scar down her face.
However, it was also her lack of sight that ultimately resulted in a light hearted personality - when you couldn't see all that well, you had much more important things to focus upon than an absent father, fighting parents or whether she looked pretty or not. Picking herself up from the injury, she learned her lesson and began to slowly accept her visual limitations.
Sloan currently resides within Sapient, where she was also born. Currently Sloan is ranked Domus Parva and holder of the Gardener metier.

Medical Note
Sloan has exceptionally limited vision- and even that which is in her view range lacks detail; more a blur of colours, without much contrast. Additionally, she is completely blind in her left eye, the combination of which results in overall dismal eye sight and spacial awareness.
