Poppy Monroe

Poppy Monroe is the daughter of Lolita Monroe and Niro Takekuro. She lived in Dahlia de Mai with her mother and sisters until Lolita decided to leave. Poppy chose to go with her, as did her sister Foxglove Monroe, while their third sister, Magnolia Monroe, chose to live in Cour des Miracles with her father and his mate.

History

Poppy, the eldest of her litter, was born to Lolita Monroe in on September 21, 2010, the result of a drunken night between her parents. Her father is Niro Takekuro of , who found out about the three puppies when Poppy and her sisters were roughly one month old. As a result, they are primarily raised by their mother with visits to their father on occasion. Poppy and the girls also live with their aunt Pippa Haskel, who lives with Lolita in a big house in St. Pepin's Vineyard. At a young age Poppy wasn't too sure what to think about her father. She always believed he did not want to be around, and so she did not think of him much for the first few months of her life.

Personality

Poppy is a very affectionate pup, with a tendency to want to please everyone, especially her mother and siblings. As she grows older, it is clearer that Poppy is a perfectionist, always doing her best at everything and in turn expecting rather highly out of most. She's an intelligent one and very curious. When she has questions in need of answering, she'll usually do her own research however, only asking others when it comes to last resort. This makes her independent, which she has been from an early stage in her life. She does love her pack however, and would do anything for the wolves she cares for.

In terms of how Poppy acts around other wolves aside from her family and close friends and pack-mates, you could safely say that this young wolf is not afraid of socializing. She's not a social butterfly, that's a fact, but she's not a coward either and will approach wolves if she finds them interesting, or reply if she is spoken to. She's not always a good little wolf either, although most of the time she is. In fact, Poppy does have a rebellious side, which is most dominant as she ages. She's stubborn and witty and also very protective. Finally, she's somewhat of a tom-boy, usually enjoying going hunting and getting herself dirty.

Appearance

This beautiful Pup isn't one that's very hard to miss, not only because of her personality, but because of that gorgeous coat and those blue eyes that seem to know no depth. Her paws, legs and part of her underside, as well as the center of her face are a snowy white color, while the rest of her body is a shiny reddish brown color resembling her maternal grandmother's colorings as well as her aunt Pippa. She looks very similar to a red malamute, right down to the same saddle-marking on the back of malamutes.
