Description
- Size: Rook is 33 in (83.8 cm) tall at the shoulder. He weighs ~126 pounds.
- Build: Broad-chested and muscular, Rook had been conditioned and bred for strength and endurance. Due to years of malnourishment, he retains very little fat on his body.
- Features: He has a large head, a square, blunt muzzle, and a high-curling tail. His body is littered with scars, hidden in his thick fur. He always wears a thick, black leather collar, and sometimes a brown leather harness with gold buckles and finishings.
Coloration
- His main body color is Tan (#D4B485), some of his guard hairs frosted in Whiskey (#CD9B60). Rook's plush undercoat is Quarter Spanish White (#F7F0DD), which includes his legs, tail, undercarriage, chest, and "collar"; bordering this color and ticking throughout his pelt -- mainly at his elbows, hocks, and hips -- is the color Arrowtown (#91856D). His face (muzzle, eyes), forehead, the insides and backs of his ears are shadowed Wood Bark (#220E05).
- Early Dawn (#FFF7E7) pales his claws, and Burning Sand (#DB9480) flushes any of his exposed skin. His leathery nose and lips are Thunder (#1C1618) in color.
- His eyes are a deep, warm Paco (#411F10).
Personality
No longer a slave, and now a companion to Kali, Rook is only recently and very slowly forming his own personality -- mainly at his new owner's insistence.
Rook is quiet and complacent for the most part. He seems uncertain a lot of the time, and tends to awkwardly linger when he hasn't a command to follow. Any given order is followed diligently, though he sometimes exhibits minute displays of independence, and will occasionally disobey when faced with the ability to pursue his own whims. Said "whims" are never harmful and they mainly center around his neediness for Kali and his eagerness to please her.
He is docile in nature but has a fair capacity to react defensively, which betrays his level of intelligence despite the misconception otherwise that he is dim-witted.
Skills & Abilities
- He understands English, German, and Russian but talks very little (as is his preference), responding mainly using body language.
- Rook is patient and severely tolerant with an extreme capacity for waiting.
- He is a fairly adept hunter, strong and quicker on his feet than appearances allow.

- Likes Kali -- he is motivated to please her.
- Likes eating, napping, watching others do stuff
aka creeping, and being petted.
- Dislikes horses, loud noises, aggressive behavior, and warm weather.

Interaction
Rook is friendly, but incurious. He will not approach others or actively seek attention, though seems interested enough that he won't shy away from strangers. Only recently has he become comfortable with being touched, only finding comfort in another's presence once he realizes they won't harm him. Rook will flinch if approached too quickly, but is otherwise a plaintive and calming sort of company; attentive and obedient to a fault. However, anything Kali says overrides whatever else others might ask of him.
History
- Rook was born at Siegfried into servitude, and raised by Luperci to be a "pack mule" and livestock-guard.
- In October of 2013, Kali de le Poer and her siblings stopped in Siegfried to rest and restock. Due to a unfortunate and fortuitous crossing, Kali wound up killing Rook's owner and fled the area immediately after. Rook followed.
- In January 2014, Rook and Kali spend many weeks alone, and she teaches him to understand her and to speak more.
- In April 2014, Rook joins Kali, Agrippa, and Marlowe in Inferni. He is ranked as an Outsider.
Hades

Description
- Size: Hades is 16.1 hands high (64.4 in) and weighs ~868 pounds.
- Build: Hardy and well-muscled, the stallion is slightly stockier with his short, gently sloping back and a thick neck siphoning into a narrow chest. His head/muzzle is average and refined, and his ears are small, sitting high on his skull.
- Features: Whereas the rest of his pelt is sleek and flat, Hades has particularly feathery fetlocks, a long tail (nearly gracing the ground) and a choppy, uneven mane. He has various, miscellaneous scars littering his body, mainly on his legs.
Coloration
- His main body color is Quill Gray (#D3D2CF), speckled and frosted with tones like Sandstone (#7C6A5C) and Millbrook (#5A4331).
- His head, mane, tail, and up to his knees/hocks are shadowed Nero (#0D0800). In some lights, one can tell that the fringes of his hair is accented with Irish Coffee (#543624).
- The color of his hooves is Dallas (#6A4920), while his scars are pale Laser (#CFAD79).
Personality
Hades is a fucking prick.
Skills
- Fast and incredibly sure-footed.
- Best suited for endurance.

Interaction
This horse should not be touched or handled by anyone. Hades is an intelligent animal, but highly aggressive and inexplicably resistant to touch or command. Luperci he recognizes can be in his proximity, perhaps handle him in some way, but he will absolutely refuse any rider except Kali and will react violently if he feels any sort of discomfort. He prefers being alone and will bite, kick, and charge at any animal except cats, particularly Hydra, who can often be seen sleeping on his back.
History
- Captured by a Scintilla patrol in mid-2013.
- Remained a troublesome, unbroken stallion for many months and was due for execution before Kali de le Poer made a bid for him.
- Through a long, arduous process, Kali broke the wild horse and named him Hades.
Hydra

- Size: Hydra is small, only around 6 pounds (2.7 kg).
- Build: She is a stout creature (though not particularly fat), with short legs, a small, round head, and a thick, squarish physique that genuinely lacks curvature.
- Features: The cat is ugly. Her fur is patchy, and has a perpetual ruddiness to it despite vigilant grooming. Her ears are tattered, her paws seem particularly haggard, and her tail is strangely short, slightly less than half. Her most prominent feature is a large scar between her right ear and eye, and the noticeable lack of a right eyeball.
Coloration
- Represents the Tortoiseshell gene in her coat coloring.
- Her base fur Cameo (#DBBDA1), swirled and accented with varying swathes of Spicy Mix (#75493C), Fuscous Gray (#524D49), and Mine Shaft (#292929).
- A rare color, Pumice (#D7D9D8), powders her mouth, whiskers, the left side of her left forepaw, and the last toe on her right forepaw. It appears sparsely throughout her pelt.
- Her nose and other areas of exposed skin are Turkish Rose (#AE7379), while her pawpads and claws are Swamp (#00070A).
- A dull Lisbon Brown (#394021) is the shade of her remaining (left) eye.
Personality
Evil and withdrawn, Hydra was tortured for the better part of her young life and exemplifies the residual effects in her self-preserving personality. She is a quiet cat, cautious and observant due to having only one eye, but ferociously defensive of herself. That being said, she isn't brave by any means, and will hide before anything else if the opportunity arises. Also, because she spent a long period of time being unable to move, the feline became attuned to judging spiritual energy and knowing whether someone is good or bad.
Hydra is only comfortable and completely relaxed when she is alone, with Hades, or with Kali.
Skills
- Good with reading individuals and determining their true nature.
- Though no longer very fast on her feet, she has proven to be an incredibly talented fisher.

Interaction
Hydra avoids company whenever possible. She will quickly excuse herself when other Luperci appear, unless she is with Hades, because he will fiercely defend her without impunity. In fact, she can be found with the stallion (when he is not in use) more often than not.
History
- Lost 7 out of 9 lives so far.
- In June 2014, she finds her first feline companion in the stray Salem, and he sticks around.

- Build: Salem is long and slender, with spidery legs and a tail longer than average. His muscles are lean, yet well-defined beneath his short fur.
- Features: With almond-shaped eyes, large ears and a sleek, triangular head, Salem resembles his Oriental ancestry entirely. He has exceptionally long whiskers and the tip of his right ear has been mysteriously leveled.

- Size: She stands 19 hands high (76 in) at the shoulder and weighs around 1,050 pounds.
- Build: Thick-bodied, and statuesque, Vista has a sleek, powerful structure with strong legs and large hooves. Her muzzle is long, squarish, and her ears are proportionately tall.
- Features: Vista's pelt is short and smooth across her body, save for her legs which become particularly plush and feathery down to her hooves.
Coloration
- Her main body color is El Salva (#974935), while Athens Gray (#FCFCFD) gives her a bald face marking, pales her legs, and freckles her body, mainly on her chest, shoulders, neck, and rump. Her mane and tail are Albescent White (#F3E2C7) but her forelock is a strange Bright Gray (#3B3F4B) hue. Her nose and other areas of exposed skin are Oriental Pink (#C9979A), and her hooves are Cement (#937A66).
Personality
Friendly and relaxed, Vista seems to be a gentle and understanding soul, almost entirely unaffected by loud noises, quick movements, or the like. Her general lack of fear seems to stem from an unnatural sense of trust in most strangers, and the fact that Constantine has protected her from predators for several years now.

- Extremely calm and patient.
- Understand commands in several different languages (English, French, German, Japanese and Russian).
- Built for towing and long distance riding.

Interaction
Anyone can approach Vista without fear. She is accommodating and loving, but extremely loyal to Constantine. The only time she becomes remotely hostile is if someone tries to take her without Constantine being present.
History
- She was given to Constantine and his brother Finchale by their eldest sibling Durza in 2010.
- After Durza's death, Finchale abandoned them and Constantine kept Vista with him.

- Size: Each of them weigh between 45 and 60 pounds.
- Build: Round, with pronounced shoulders and rumps. Stalin is the bulkiest, while Xo is the most slender, and Pyrrhic lies somewhere between the two.
- Features: Squarish muzzles, round ears, with large feet and claws. Their noses are thick and their eyes are small, almond-brown, set close together.
Coloration
- Their main and darkest color is Zeus (#2E231D), ranging to a lighter Tobacco Brown (#695244) which creates saddles on their backs.
- All of their eyes are Metallic Copper (#6F3E1F).
- Heathered Gray (#B7A98F) is sprinkled through all three of their pelts. Most notably it accents Stalin's muzzle, and covers the majority of Pyrrhic's head, chest, neck, and shoulders.
Personality
Stalin is quiet and potentially aggressive; he is clearly the leader of the triplets. Pyrrhic tends to be playful and very vocal; he is often running from Stalin's wrath. Xo is sweet and gentle, shy and slow to warm up but incredibly social once she does.

- Features: Long tufts above the tip of each ear, an exceptionally long tail, and oversized paws.
Coloration
- Mainly Brown Rust (#9E5E33), lightening to Muddy Waters (#BA8E53) in some places (mainly his paws), he bears only a few markings on his face and the back of his ears, the color of Bunker (#07080D), a color shared by his nose and claws. His only other color would be Amour (#FEFBFD), located beneath his eyes, on his muzzle, chin, underbelly, and the insides of his ears. His hazel-gold eyes range constantly from light to dark, but mostly seem to be a Gimblet (#B8B56A) hue.
