Not too different from her Lupus form, her mane begins to thin out to reveal the longer, thinner Optime hair running toward her rump. Her eyes are still her most prominent feature.

Her mane gives way to thin, straight hair that falls down to her rump. She has very curvaceous, feminine hips and a bushy tail. Her eyes are still exceptionally bright, and her muzzle and ears appear pointier. Her thighs and forearms are well-toned and muscular.

Born from violence, it isn't surprising that Lucia ended up with a few screws loose. She didn't start out that way, however. Underneath all that chaos and mental illness, she is a highly intelligent individual. She is a contemplative creature, often pondering on her past, or on those closest to her. She quite enjoys talking about the better parts of her life, and about her history, but will avoid discussions of anything too painful or dark. She is heavily affected by the demons of her past, and of the nastier things she has done.

On a good day, Lucia is a chain-smoking bubble of laughter and joy. She will talk to anybody, and will lend a hand to whomever might require one. Though she cannot stand small talk and conversation fillers, she enjoys a drink (or several), and a good celebration. She also enjoys peaceful conversations about how the world works, or topics of philosophy, tattooing, or raising families. She has often been described as 'the life of the party', and comes across as a very caring individual. She hates to see others suffer, and has an especially strong pull toward the care of smaller animals. She has often put herself in danger to aid others in their times of need. She is a known risk-taker, and takes pleasure in trying to impress whomever is in her presence at the time.

When in her manic state, Lucia often comes across as flirtatious or excessively giggly. Her voice will become shrill, and singsong in nature. This is especially noticeable if her companion carries the coyote genes (gender not relevant) or a rank in Inferni. She will make a note to be up close and personal, both physically and in conversation, and if possible, gain sexual or romantic pleasure from whoever has caught her eye. She has been known to be involved in one-night stands with coyotes in the past, though doesn't stick around due to her emotional attachment to Snake. The only exception was Pitone, and she punishes herself for that every day.

Lucia is also unstable and prone to self destructive behavior. Her loyalty and devotion is misguided. She is attached, more often than not, to figures that are no longer available (Snake), or those who wish to harm her. She has distinctively low self esteem, though will never openly admit or ponder it too often. Lucia isn't known to cry in front of others, due to her overwhelming (and clashing) extroverted confidence and pride, but has been known to occasionally break down when alone.

She is prone to unexpected waves of depression and suicidal thoughts. She is haunted by the murders she committed in her past, and has increased paranoia from these crimes. She believes most, if not all, want to harm or kill, her, and as a coping measure, tangled this in to her end goal. She believes that if she finds Snake he will stop these nasty thoughts, and all her demons will dissipate. It is all part of her delusions and mental disorder. She has also been known to self-harm, often to get a reaction from those around her, and give the illusion that someone cares for her.

At times, she will be hit by a combination of depression and mania. This is essentially where her mind has cracked from either too much stress, the threat of violence, or a bad batch of drugs. Her voice changes quickly between a singsong mixture of husky, slower tones and shrill, high-pitched straining. She has even been known to break in to maniacal bouts of laughter, unable to stop, and often laughing until she passes out from exhaustion.

Lucia is also afflicted by violent outbursts, and, when the mood takers her, seeks to cause trouble of any kind. This is often linked to the mania-depressive combo as mentioned above. She is highly volatile, and extremely unpredictable.

Regardless of the above, Lucia is very charismatic in all forms. She is capable, and often willing, to manipulate others for her own benefit, or for the needs of her nearest and dearest.

In regards to her Schizoaffective Disorder, Lucia is in denial. Whether this is down to seeing, and experiencing, her mother's problems, or just plain old stubbornness, it's not really known. What is known, however, is that this disorder affects every part of Lucia's life.

It is partially the reason she is so set on finding Snake. Her whirlwind romance with him took its toll on her gentle, complicated mind, and even though there has had moments of moving forward in her life, such as new love interests and children, the idea of Snake has always pulled her back in, making those moments obsolete.

It is because of these reasons that Lucia holds coyotes, and Infernians, at higher regard than others. She worships the ground they walk on, and openly hopes to rejoin their ranks, despite her full-blooded wolf heritage. She is highly motivated when her mind is set on a goal; evidence in the fact she has been (aside from a slight detour with Pitone and the birth of her daughter) searching for Snake since he abandoned her back in 2010.

It is also thought that this disorder is the reason Lucia will hear Snake's voice in her head. She will follow 'his' words as though they are gospel. This has often lead to troubling consequences, and at times, even murder. Lucia is often unable to feel genuine guilt toward these crimes, as in her mind, she is doing Snake's will, and has no control. It is also the reason she is, more often than not, seen talking to herself, and having full-blown conversations with thin air.

The auditory hallucinations are present most of the time, however, visual hallucinations have been noted in times of great stress or emotional turmoil. There have also been occurrences of both occurring at the same time during drug or alcohol related binges. Lucia tends to go into a trance-like state during the visual hallucinations, oblivious of those around her, and, on occasion, extremely violent.

Above all else, Lucia is a woman driven by vengeance, and the love of Snake and her daughter. She knows how to hold a grudge, and will remember the offense for years. She will always seek revenge, for herself and those she cares about, in one way or another. The seriousness of the crime is irrelevant. More often than not, she will obsess over said grudge until the situation has been resolved to her satisfaction.

• Speech: Generally, Lucia speaks in a husky, honeyed tone of voice. However, in her crazier moments, her voice takes on a shrill, singsong tune, with bouts of giggling. She is a clear, confident speaker most of the time, and tends to carry a Mid-Atlantic English accent. She also swears like a sailor.
• Scent: She smells of cigarettes, sea-salt, coyotes and alcohol.
• Quirks: She giggles and talks to herself. She gesticulates when speaking.
• Demeanor: Lucia's demeanor is constantly-changing due to her unpredictability. One constant, however, is her overwhelming confidence. She displays this, even when at her darkest.

Motivations

• The impossible dream: Lucia has been hurt by the world. A lot. However, she still hasn't lost hope that Snake will come back in to her life, and they can all be a family again. She finds strength in her quest, and even left her daughter behind to pursue it. Sadly, it's an impossible dream, and she is too emotionally damaged to realize this. Any realization would drive her to complete despair and probable suicide.
• Mother's love: Lucia, when in her right mind, sought to be the best mother she could to her daughter. Her constant fear that she had passed on her mental illnesses meant she tried to give her the best understanding and education possible. She suffers constant guilt from leaving her daughter behind, though is overpowered by her need to find Snake.
• A sense of belonging: She is lonely. Her life quest has left her isolated, and driven a lot of acquaintances away over time. Lucia wants to make friends who will stay in her life. However, often her flaws get in the way, and she ruins any, or all, chances of blossoming friendships.

Biases

Spirituality

Though technically considered agnostic, Lucia has also been known to worship Inferni and/or Snake in her crazier moments.

• Loneliness: Lucia's biggest fear is loneliness. The constant whispers in her mind mean she has never felt true isolation, but fears it nonetheless. Snake's disappearance created a rift in her already unstable mind, meaning she will seek out company, sexual and otherwise, to fill the void inside her heart and quieten the anxiety until she finds him again.
• Failure: She worries she will fail in her mission to find Snake. Though his whereabouts are unknown, Lucia will never accept that he is gone for good and/or dead, so she still searches. She is also scared that she has failed as a mother, but her instability means this hasn't fully manifested yet. It just pops up now and again to say hello when she's feeling vulnerable.
• Normality: Her voices and hallucinations are the norm. Without these, her life would be unbearable. She likes things just the way they are. She detests the idea of 'a cure'.

Lucia is the only survivor of a litter of four. Her mother, Melea Cabriel, birthed her, and her still-born brothers, after various violent sexual encounters with Lucia's never-present father, Portatore Di Agonia. Being the only daughter, and an only child, Lucia clung desperately to her mother for guidance, slowly watching her succumb to drug and alcohol abuse, and often in view of her mother's exploits with various members of Boston's canine authority.

Over time, tired of the hot-cold attitude from her mother, their relationship become strained. Lucia sought to leave Boston and go out on her own. Training herself vigorously in areas of combat, languages, and medicine, Lucia soon felt confident enough to take on the world. However, with her mother's increasing madness and violent outbursts, and no other family to speak of, Lucia turned her intelligence and motivations toward finding a cure for her mother's demons, though never succeeded.

Eventually, when all hope was lost, Lucia confided in a friend on her plan to leave Boston, without the required permission. These plans got quickly leaked to the Authority, and that same night a group of wolves entered their desolate, slum-like apartment, and attacked and raped her mother, believing it to be Lucia instead. Soon after, however, Lucia's father entered the apartment to confirm his daughter's identity, revealing their mistake, his high position in the Authority, and his relationship to Melea and Lucia.

Unable to locate Lucia, who had taken refuge under a few loose floorboards in another room, they left believing they had given enough of a message to stop the teenager from leaving, with or without permission from the Authority.

Lucia rushed to her mother's side, desperately using the last of her supplies of herbs and remedies to fix her mother's wounds, but her intoxicated state combined with the extent of her injuries, meant Melea soon slipped in to a coma and died.

The loss of her mother, combined with the betrayal by her friend, created the catalyst for Lucia's own affliction of Schizoaffective disorder, paranoia, and panic attacks. It also created an overwhelming blood-lust in the woman, sending her on a rampage to attack, torture and kill those involved with her mother's death.

She quickly annihilated the soldiers, using them to gain knowledge of her father's whereabouts. Tracking him down, she took her time with his murder, reminding him as he died that it was his own fault, and he should have just let her leave.

Lucia dragged his body to the apartment, put it next to her mother's, and the pile of murdered soldiers. She soaked the place in gasoline and watched it burn.

After several days of sitting in the ruins, stinking of smoke and death, Lucia gathered up her backpack and remaining resources, and left Boston behind. She traveled alone for the most part, though eventually fell in with a group of thieves and vagabonds on route to Canada where she traded her body for drugs, alcohol and, very occasionally, food.

Eventually she came across Nova Scotia and left the group behind. She made her way through the surrounding territories, hovering around Halifax and Quartz Shoreline for the first couple of weeks. It was there she met and fell for Snake, triggering an overwhelming sense of possessiveness and jealousy in the woman (especially in regard to Daisuke), and paving the way to her complete loss of stability. With his abandonment of her, and of Inferni, his disappearance added the final ingredient for her mental snap.

Lucia did her best to cope with the circumstances, and even began to pursue romantic relations with Zalen. However, her guilt from betraying Snake, and also from having to leave the ranks of Inferni, made her more determined to find the coyote, bring him back to the pack, and begin a family. She quickly departed from Nova Scotia without a word to anyone, and was not seen again in the area until nearly five years later.

Little is known what happened to Lucia between leaving and returning. She has aged gracefully. She shows signs of deteriorating further in to her mind, and has spoken briefly about having a daughter somewhere. It is thought that she slept with a coyote (Pitone Guerriero) whilst on her hunt for Snake, became impregnated and raised her briefly, before giving in to the urges to find Snake again. Whether this is true or not, remains to be seen. She is, however, making her way back toward Inferni borders, hoping to claim sanctuary and be reunited with the only place she ever felt loved in one more time.
