By Mel!

Jericho Anders was a wolf from Zion and member of the Boreas faction. He spent his later years acting as a Preacher, though previously served in a leadership capacity in Boreas.

A quiet, unassuming man, Jericho was a soldier hardened by war and loss -- his parents were killed during the original Boreas Conflict and he lost his mate to Scintilla coyotes during a raid. Though many assumed that the aging veteran joined the traveling faction to support his daughter and nephew, the truth was that Jericho was driven by nothing short of hatred.

He remained largely removed from the violence perpertated during the Second Boreas Conflict, instead gathering information through locals, some of whom expressed sympathy to their cause. Jericho notably participated in the capture of Inferni's Aquila Vesper.

Following the death of his daughter, Jericho became withdraw. He was absent during the final battle of the conflict, and fled the area upon seeing the carnage. Bad luck and misfortune brought him across the path of a wolfdog and his companion, a man who carried his own grudge. This resulted in Jericho's demise: he was poisoned then later strangled, and slowly died from suffocation.

Boreas Boreas, Zion

Jericho was born in the spring of 2010 to a very young mother within the Boreas pack of Zion. His siblings did not make it to their first year – one early, two to accidents as children, and a third to a deliberate attack by a Scintilla coyote. It was perhaps this incident which led his parents to break away from Boreas-proper. Despite his protests, Jericho was deemed “too young” to accompany the party and remained behind, instead thrusting himself into dutifully serving his commanders. Jericho was one of the first to support Daniel Dalton's bid for leadership, and earned himself a respectable place because of this.

Though he spent the next years engaged in the escalation of conflict between the Boreas wolves and Scintilla coyotes, Jericho never forgot what had occurred. He eventually took on a mate and had several children. An injury put him out of active duty, though age is what kept him from returning. With more time available to him, Jericho sought to actively train his descendants and made the Anders name a formidable one within Boreas.

As it turned out, Jericho was not the only one who kept the memory of their lost kin in his thoughts. A group of young wolves with connections to the lost party began assembling, and eventually caught the attention of Jericho's daughter Bethlehem (or, perhaps, her attraction to one of its charismatic leaders) and the two quickly became involved. When this new group decided to travel north, both Jericho and Bethlehem accompanied them -- the two were heavily involved in The Second Boreas Conflict.
