1.  Lifestyle

1.1  Speech

Though Dublin is not the most talkative of characters, when he does speak his Irish accent is astoundingly clear and he often uses words that are part of that country's heritage such as 'whisht' (quiet) and 'Amadán' (fool). He can speak quiet confidently and often shows little emotion in his words. He rarely makes mistakes in his speech although his grammar can be quiet unusual, as he usually thinks carefully before speaking at all. However, occasionally, when he's either highly stressed or is surprised he can trip over words completely and will generally quiet down substantially.

1.2  Abilities

Strengths

Emotional Control

Throughout his life Dublin has practiced his ability to disguise his inner emotions and intentions to work to his benefit - while they are not perfect, he has become fairly skilled at this thanks to working for an argueably criminal alpha before arriving in Nova Scotia. This alpha taught all subordinates the basic techniques of how to do this, though this has been almost perfected by Dublin from experience.

Weaknesses

Antisocial

Often grumpy an hardly the most caring of wolves, Dublin finds it hard to care about others unless they offer him something worthwhile. Needless to say that this has earned him more enemies than friends. He can often not be bothered doing much without incentive of some sort, and so rarely gains any sort of high position with a pack. It is unlikely that his social skills will improve unless a genuinely kind soul helps him relate to others.

Non-Luperci

This is not the downfall some may call it, however the lack of the ability to transform into an Optime shape has left Dublin unable to do things that many others can - for instance, creating or maintaining weapons or items is a skill he has not got, and he has a lot of trouble carrying things over long distances, especially if they cannot fit in his mouth. Climbing is also another skill that escapes him because of this. There is a chance he might become a Luperci in the future, however it remains to be seen whether he will bother.

1.3  Residence

Character resides in the Territory of Pack? in her den/house/hotel/hovel/hole in the ground (see map). A basic description of the house would go here, along with a short description of any housemates' arrangements.

Previous residences could be listed in a separate paragraph.

2.1  Forms

Lupus

The build of the male is relatively stocky and sturdy, not overly large however not short - merely an average height and length. His weight is perhaps a little above what is normal for his height and length however has a fairly high percentage of muscle, as is normal for wolves of his body type. It would seem he was not designed for any task in particular - he has no particular prowess in speed, agility nor strength though perhaps rather than achieving speed over short distances his body type is more suited to the chase - a fairly well developed stamina is present.

Secui

What does their Secui form look like?

Optime

In Optime form, some characters choose to style their hair -- if this is the case, how does your character usually wear it?

2.2  Build & Species

Are they tall or short? Lean or chubby? How do they carry themselves -- confidently and proudly, or humbly and unassured? There usually aren't significant differences between body types from Lupus to Optime -- lean, thin individuals will remain lean and thin, and thick, muscular individuals will remain thick and muscular.

If they're a hybrid, you can talk about what species your character most resembles, and how the different species play into their appearance -- e.g., doggish build, wolfish undercoat, coyote muzzle, etc.

2.3  Coloration & Fur

A light desaturated brown is predominant throughout Dublin's coat, tones adjusting marginally upon his back, head, ear tips and the top side of his tail where they grow darker, and lighter upon the lower points of his body - spreading across his chin, muzzle and down his throat, before wrapping over his belly and the lower side of his tail, this off-white unsaturated cream also apparent upon all four of his legs as stockings as well as upon the inner area of his ears. The fur itself is fairly rough and unkempt - clear to the viewer as not fussed over in the slightest. The fur itself is moderately thick and smooth, often tangled in places however also quite fluffy upon his chest and neck. His eyes are perhaps nothing too rare - nothing crazy in terms of colours however are oddly striking to a casual viewer. A light minty green swathes the irises, clear and similar in tone throughout.

2.4  Modifications

  • Scars:
    • Right Hind Leg, three scars at the front of the bone on the thigh area and extending backwards. Inflicted by a miscellaneous Gang member at a brawl for the next highest rank (beta).
    • Left Hind Leg, three scars at the front of the bone on the thigh area and extending backwards. Inflicted by a miscellaneous Gang member at a brawl for the next highest rank (beta).
    • Tail Base, across the top of the tail base, hardly visible except for close examination. Inflicted by Dublin's brother, Connor, when the pair had a small argument.

3.1  Demeanor

Discuss how your character treats others here, and their general "presentation." Although less a defined appearance quality, think about the way your character presents him or herself -- are they open, outgoing, and social, or introverted, quiet, and aloof? Considering and jotting this down as part of their appearance can help you as you're roleplaying -- keeping this small but vital detail in mind can give you major clues as to how your character would act and present themselves in situations in terms of body language.

How do they react to certain situations -- newcomer at the borders, a stranger with bad attitude in the neutral territories, a lost puppy? Do they have a strong sense of right and wrong, or does their morality shift to accomodate the situation and their best interest? What motivates them, and what frightens them? What do they enjoy and what do they dislike? Although this is a lot to think about, considering these aspects can help you fully flesh out your character. It's helpful to make sure that aspects of their personality mesh well with their biography -- thus, try to think of a plausible reason why a character acts a certain way.

3.2  Outlook

Optimist/pessimist? Submissive/dominant? Introvert/extrovert? A character who is more introverted might cross his or her arms while talking or avoid eye contact more often. This can also assist others in “reading between the lines” of your posts. While you may not take the time to detail how your character presents him or herself every time they make a move, having a general idea stated in your profile can help players fill in the blanks if they don't know your character so well.

3.3  Ideals

Biases
