Chione Keisari

Appearance

Chione is a fluffy and cute dog, her slim and sturdy built hid behind a very thick and long pelt, givign her a slightly overweight appearance. Even her summer coat doesn't lose much of its volume. She has a snow white fur with black and gray husky markings, although an odd variation of it. Her orange-brown eyes are large and round, giving a very innocent look. She tends to die the white patch on her cheeks red and yellow, as is tradition in her pack. In Optime form, the bubbly dog wears colorful and bright clothes and accessories, denoting her status and wealth, her long black mane growing into a long braid that touches behind her knees.

  • She has tattoos all over her belly, back and shoulders. Formed of symbols of her pack, for luck, protection and strength. Hidden by her thick coat.

Personality

Bubbly and loud, Chione is a friendly little creature that is easily excited, retaining some of the silly and goofy from her older dog ancestors. A bit uncoordinated and clumsy, often let's things fall because of her butter fingers. Has a loppy and goofy gate, with wide hip sways. Doesn't refuse company, and certainly won't let people sneak away without sharing a cup of tea and some biscuits. A fierce negotiator and trader, don't let her sweet attitude trick you into thinking otherwise. Will swat at you if you try to swindle her.

Family

The Keisari are mostly pure dogs, with only a few individuals with coyote or wolf blood in them. It tends to dilute in a few generations, mostly keeping their pairings and mateships within the Charioteer families. They tend to have mostly white fur with gray to black markings, and eye color ranges from yellow to bright oranges and reds to warm browns and black.

History

Chione was born and spent most of her life in her pack, Crow's Chariot. A very old pack originally named The Chariot, founded in Mongolia, it quickly grew into a nomad community of traders. Once it grew too big, the original families split into multiple groups named after different old Chinese constellations. The Chariots eveutally widened their wandering territories across Asia and Europe, even going overseas, to North America. The Crow's Chariot was one of them, wandering mostly through Alaska and the British Columbia, only occasionally restocking with exotic items with their sister group across the Bering Strait.

During a particular far trip, her pack was caught in a storm, and her wagon became stranded. She had to search for a long time, eventually finding her way into Nova Scotia. After some more meandering, and a consultation with a deep ancestral spirit (see also: wicked drug trip), she managed to find her way back to her pack. Over the years, Chione has had a litter of children, and oversaw the split of the Crow's Chariot into the Magpie's Chariot and the Raven's Chariot. Now the Navigator for the Magpie's Chariot, she determined their wanderings to be between Hudson Bay to North Virginia, occasionaly stopping by Portland to trade.
