• Species: Jackal-mix. Looks mostly like a jackal, but a bigger size and dappled hands and feet suggest a different heritage.

Optime (Preferred)

Athena spends the most time in her Optime form. She has some muscle on her, and her arms and legs are thin but not lanky. She gains her golden,, naturally wavy hair in this form that she puts in a low ponytail or bun sometimes. She does put in up in fancier ways for ormal events, however she usually likes to keep it down.

• Loss: Losing someone close to her is extremely terrifying to Athena.
• Having to fight and/or kill: Raised by a passive mother, Athena was taught all her life that fighting and killing was wrong, except for food or if there was no other choice. Even then, Athena is very afraid of having to fight, and she usually lets Rocky do the hunting.

3.2  Relations

Key Relations

• Rocky Ortiz met Athena on the Majesty, where the coywolf was working as a cabin boy. The two quickly bonded, and after the ship crashed, the duo found themselves on the banks of Nova Scotia in the region known as 'Souls. Athena and Rocky have since been inseparable, traveling all around the region together and sometimes getting into trouble.

Positive Relations

• Avinalora has been a good friend of Athena since their meeting in Charlottetown.

• Jarix is also a friend of hers, giving her a couple of traps for hunting.

Neutral / Negative

• Leonardo Auditore was a wolf who Athena and Rocky had met accidentally while roaming the beach, although the conversation quickly turned hostile with the male expressing his dislike for non-Luperci. Athena had subsequently blown up over that fact, and left the scene feeling no better about Sapient's views, and perhaps even deepened.

• Education and Learning: Athena learned everything she knows from her father who, originally hailing from Europe, has extensive knowledge of Luperci sailing technology.

• Navigation (Master): Being a sailor means one must be able to identify their position in the sea, sometimes based solely on the sun, moon, and stars. And her father's compass.
• Carpentry (Apprentice): Athena is able to mend minor holes in a boat's hull using various wood boards.
• Sewing (Apprentice): Athena can mend small tears and rips in a ship's sail.

Weaknesses

• Size and Strength: Since Athena is only average size for a jackal, she is considerably smaller than most wolves in Optime form and can easily be overpowered because of her lack of bodybuilding.
• Fear of Fighting: Because she was mostly raised by her mother, Athena was taught not to fight unless absolutely necessary, so she hasn't put much time to practicing moves and can be overpowered by someone skilled in combat.
