Arabella LaMund

Arabella LuMund is a Wolfdog born in a New England coastal town called Nazareth.

1.  Appearance

Although Arabella had a a distant wolf relative, his wolf features have been diluted generation by generation leaving Arabella looking entirely like a dog. Her face is delicate, with raised cheek bones, deep set eyes, and a long snout that is round rather than square around the nose. She looks mostly like a collie except for her only eye, which is to bright and too blue to be from collie blood. Arabella was born without her right eye, but she likes to think it would have been just as blue as left one.

Her fur is long, voluminous, and grows into wispy ends. In Optime form her coat remains just as fluffy as in her others. Her underbelly, feet, legs, chest, tail-tip, a stripe on her nose, and back of the neck are colored snowy white. A warm tan tinged with dark orange low-lights color her head, saddle pattern, and tail. Dark brown with sparse and faint streaks of grey appear on top of her tan markings, which is around her face and saddle pattern. In her Optime form her hair in thick and sleek. Her hair is cut into tick, straight bangs.

Arabella is average in height and weight. She is healthy and strong like any other dog, and there is nothing special about the shape of her body.

1.1  Basics

Essentials Species: Arabella is a Wolf dog, but she looks more like a collie dog than a wolf. Fur: Her coat is fluffy and long. Optime Hair: She has long, straight hair that reaches her waist. Her bangs are cut straight across and end above her eyes. Her hair is dark brown but fades into white at the ends. Facial Features: Arabella has a face with delicate, dog-like features. She has high cheekbones, deep set eyes, a thin face, and a long muzzle that is round rather than square around the nose. Her lips do not hang down much. Build and Size: Arabella is average in hight, weight, and body shape. Her gestures are lively and flowing. Lupus: In lupus she looks like a collie dog. Her wolf features are not very visible in this form. Secui: In secui she is taller and stronger than in lupus. Her coat becomes thicker giving her a "puff-ball" look. Optime: In optime her thick coat hangs down more because of her vertical posture. She has a more human like body shape. Her wolf features are more apparent in her facial features, but still very faint. Humanization: Arabella leads a highly humanized life style. Her parents fished, knew how to sail boat, lived in human made homes, cared for livestock, wore clothes, read and wrote. Arabella learned human behaviors from them. She loves the idea of the luxury and ease or human existence. Arabella enjoys making and wearing clothing and jewelry.

Interaction

• Speech: Arabella has a clear, feminine voice. She sometimes talks too quickly or too much.
• Scent: Dog, fabrics, leather, dust.
• Quirks, Gestures, Etc.: She talks with her hands and makes wild, lively gestures when talking. She claps her hands when emphasizing something or to get someones attention. Arabella makes her ears straighten or flop even when she is not talking - it is a constant twitch. She has no control of her right eye lid. It usually stays closed, but sometimes it will open and close against her will. She prefers to have other canines stand to her left side where she can see them better. She leans her left side towards other canines when speaking.
• General Posture and Body Language: Arabella is quirky and full of energy. Her posture is usually relaxed, but sometimes slow to respond to the body language of other canines. She occasionally misses non-verbal signals.

2.  Personality

Arabella is an energetic canine. She never ceases to move. Usually, its her mouth that does most of the movement. In conversations, Arabella will talk more than she needs to or too quickly too be understood. Sometimes she misses non-verbal cues. Her arms move in wild, lively motions and her feeling are vividly conveyed through her expressions. When she is not talking, her ears twitch or her feet tap or her tail wags or her right eyelid twitches. Its easy to overlook the Wolfdog's quirky behaviors and become ensorcelled with her bright disposition.

Although Arabella is clearly an adult, she somewhat of a childlike manner. Nazareth, the place where she was born, was very small with only ten or so other canines living in the area. There are many ideas, people, creatures, and ways of life that Arabella never encountered in Nazareth. She is very curious about, almost hungry, for information and experiences she could not find in Nazareth. Arabella is also very naive. She also has a tendency to being trusting of others. she generally believes when she's told because she want to think that everyone she meets is good at heart. Although her naivety hasn't hurt her yet, it easily could.

Her greatest fears is that teasing will lead to violence against her.

She is likely to be accepting and curious about the dynamics of other couples, but she is strictly heterosexual and would strive for a monogamous relationship. Interests Likes: Sewing, knitting, tanning, jewelry making, crafting, comfort. Dislikes: Being teased, danger, being cold, traveling for long periods of time without rest. Spirituality

Arabella has little experience with spirituality and never encountered religious canines in her old home. She would be very interested in the idea of gods, the afterlife, and religions and would be an easy and dedicated convert.

4.  History

Arabella was born far south of Nova Scotia in a settlement of canines living on the coast of new England. The settlement, called Nazareth, consisted of a few remodeled human homes, some wolf built shacks and cabins, a small trading post, and a dock. Arabella's mother, Elizabeth, had been born and raised in the settlements. She and her family fished and hunted. Sometimes they would trade their meets to travelers. Arabella's father, Andrew, stooped at the trading post while wandering down the coast. There, he fell in love with the beautiful Elizabeth.

Andrew decided to become Elizabeth's mate and stay in Nazareth. The couple moved into spacious cabin near Elizabeth's parent's home. Andrew learned learned to fish and would care for traveler's horses at the trading post in exchange for rare goods, animals, and luxurious furs.

Soon, Elizabeth became pregnant. she had five puppies in her first litter. The birth was difficult for Elizabeth. Arabella and her sister Rosie were the only puppies out of the litter who survived birth. The sisters learned to fish and hunt with there parents. Rosie learned her Father's love of horses and Arabella learned her Mother's talent with sewing and crafting. As the puppies got older the got rebellious and restless.. As soon as Rosie became a year old she hugged her family good by and rode away from Nazareth, a two which had become to small and boring for her. Arabella had Rosie's same wonder lust, but she was scared to be out on her own and decided to stay with her parents.

Later that same year Arabella's Mother became pregnant with a second litter. This birth was easy and all six puppies would survive. Her home was crowded now with three new brothers and three new sisters. As much as Arabella loved Nazareth and her family, she was becoming tired of the daily doldrums of life. She was curious about what kinds of things she could find north of her home.

Arabella left home on foot with her parents blessing and headed north to Nova Scotia.
